@@jameshamilton6096 one of the cheaper options in small electric cars available in the UK is the Dacia Spring, costing around £15k. I hope these other vehicles get a good UK following too, but a concern of mine is getting them repaired until they are very common. The Geeling Panda, starting price circa £5k will be great if we don't have to pay much more for importation. It seems that Podride, Carver and Schleffer Biotech have all gone bust. Let's hope they get rescued!

@@FormulaManuel moro na Bélgica e tenho garagem fechada . No inverno muito frio ele perde um pouco a potência e autonomia , mas mesmo assim não tive problemas. Eu aconselho ter uma garagem fechada para o inverno.

All those light EVs looks so nice. Except the price feels like we have to pay more to have less compared to a thermic second hand vehicle, and we have to take account of the lack of charging plugs in highly dense residential areas or shared communal parking spaces. Plus the safety, most doors cannot be locked! If there are doors. Those are idealistic cars for an idealistic world. :(

As a child in the early 60s in the UK, I can remember seeing lots of microcars puttering about on the road, though the Austin Mini and similar small cars destroyed their popularity. I like the Microlino design very much which looks very familiar to me, but oh, the price!

I can't help thinking that manufacturers of these small cars are missing a trick. It is very possible that some parents will want to take two children to school or shopping so what a bout 3 seaters: two in front, one sideways behind or one in front and two behind with legs each side of the front seat.

I agree, particularly with the one front, two rear concept. Fortunately, there are at least a few models of velomobile and quadricycle which address this. And there is not enough thought put into getting heavy or bulky items into small vehicles without damaging yourself - it won't always be just a small briefcase or a bag of shopping. There are work tools too, and musicians (students/amateurs/pros) could be a huge market for city-friendly vehicles.

Whoever came up with the idea that the Triggo can park between two parked cars, either that parallel parked, or nose in - DO NOT DO THIS. People that need room to get in their cars, need to be able to open their doors. Have you not heard of handicapped people? And if you try to nose in between parallel parked cars, you have now blocked two cars from being able to unpark -- unless you want your Triggo smashed into.

let's also say that the convenience of small electric cars consists in being able to enter city areas that are currently prohibited for combustion engine vehicles, in addition clearly to electricity which (for the moment) appears to be more convenient than petrol... Having said, some things shown in this video leave me perplexed, such as certain parking spaces which in my opinion, as well as being impossible and inconvenient, are also annoying... being a motorcyclist I go into a rage when one of these cars parks in the places reserved for motorcycles, given that similar parking spaces take up space for two or three motorcycles...

What a terrible display of thoughtless handling of unsafe vehicles: Parking and going without the use of indicators, driving in the wrong side of the road, no use of seat belts, 80 km/h without a drivers license in regular traffic, parking so close to other vehicles so that nobody can get in and out, blowing through STOP-signs without stopping, etc. Back to the future indeed. These designers and marketeers really need to grow up.
