Agreed - as soon as I saw the title of this upload and started playing it (and as I know well the tune and mode of 'Foggy dew') I was hearing 'Jolene' all the way through until the segway which could, I think, have been even more seamless if they hadn't dropped the instrumentation slightly before changing. Even so - a brilliant pairing of two wonderful songs and melodies.

Great version! I lived in Newfoundland, when I was a child, and my father was stationed there at Ernest Harmon AFB. I still have wonderful memories of those few years, and waving at Queen Elizabeth when she drove thru town.

Niamh Rooney He’s a mainland Canadian aka “mainlander” he only “lived” in Newfoundland as a child because his father was stationed here in the military- was not born and bred here, or lived here all of his life. Unfortunately that level of ignorance is quite typical of mainlanders lmao. They do the same to us here in NL.
