I’m with Jason 100%. I love how much knowledge and information I get from my phone and being able to complete tasks much easier depending on what it is, but I spend WAY too much time on it and I hate it, makes sleeping at night a tough task too.

So many days I would go back to a basic do nothing flip phone. I'm 37 and my wife talked me into a smartphone again a few years ago. My flip phone got service EVERYWHERE! Did not need 4g or 5g towers. Middle of nowhere under thick trees in a valley...full service

I only use Instagram when I go to bed at night and never look to see what my friends are doing it's always sports lol And yes, I am girl, who is a die-hard sports fan. Great game on Sunday TK. I was skipping through you tube last fall when I saw a video of Taylor swift attending a Kansas City Chiefs game. For a minute there I thought I was in the Twilight Zone. What on earth is Taylor Swift doing at a Chief's game? I thought to myself.. I later learned she was dating Travis Kelce. But it stimulated some thinking on possible Horton genetic relatives living in Kansas since my Horton family moved from Chatham County North Carolina to Corning Kansas around 1859. So they probably married into some of the local Kansas people there during that time between 1859 to 1892, 1892 was the year my Kansas City born great Uncle returned to Chatham County and eventually started a law practice in Pittsboro. Whats additionally mildly interesting, the Horton family moved from Philadelphia to Surry County North Carolina around the 1740s. Philadelphia is where Jason Kelce played for the Eagles and Kansas City is where Travis Kelce plays for the Chiefs. My Horton branch traveled through and lived in both cities or areas at one earlier historical time. But some further interesting facts is that Taylor Swift was named after James Taylor. James Taylor grew up sixteen miles north of where I live in North Carolina. He lived in Chapel Hill NC and I lived south of there in Pittsboro NC. Both James Taylor and myself started creating songs during the 1960s and both of us wound up in mental wards around the same age......he in McClean Hospital in Boston and I at Memorial Hospital at UNC Chapel Hill in 1975 at twenty years old. I had a psychotic breakdown and spent the following two years in intense recovery with a great psychologist (number 1 in the world at that time) who was a doctor at UNC Memorial as well as professor. James Taylor was struggling with heroin addiction and suicidal thoughts and potential mental illness during his late teen years when his father rescued him from his despair in NYC. James' father was Isacc Taylor the chief medical doctor at UNC Med School 1955-1971. He clearly helped me out by hiring or overseeing a great psychologist that I got assigned to in 1975. from the UNC Med School. The last years I hung out with and saw from time to time this psychologist was in the 1980s in the Morgan Creek area of Chapel hill. I would visit her in her home there for additional therapy sessions. Morgan Creek was the same neighborhood James Taylor grew up in. In fact in his song Copperline he mentions Morgan Creek. By far my favorite performance of Taylor Swift was at Madison Square Garden in New York City (2011?) when she performed with James Taylor. They performed the song Fire and Rain. The You Tube video: "Taylor Swift James Taylor Fire and Rain New York City Madison Square Garden" - donater TaylorSwift13 org. This video has the performance when she was around 21 years old. She was singing James Taylor's profound lyrics with a young teen's shrill high pitch voice and it made me think with deep sadness of how many young teen girls have committed suicide. From all sorts of family pressures, and domestic and sexual abuse, mental illness ect. Taylor sang: "You got to help me Jesus, got to help me take a stand, JUst got to see me through another day, my body's aching and........my time is at hand, I can't make it any other way" lyrics went something like that. The song is about a girlfriend of James Taylor who committed suicide along with James Taylor's own personal mental health troubles and addictions. There is a bridge in Chapel Hill that crosses over Morgan Creek and it was named after James Taylor. Its called the James Taylor Bridge. I wish they would rename it The James Taylor - Taylor Swift bridge. The web site: "People gather beneath James Taylor Bridge in Chapel Hill to sing songs and celebrate his birthday." WRAL News. A second site: You Tube Video: "Copperline by James Taylor at the actual Morgan Creek." Cam Knopp Music. Both sites go further into aspects of James Taylor. Taylor Swift - Travis Kelce romance stimulated more interest in my ancestral line, stemming back to the Kansas City area and Corning KS, Surry County NC and Philadelphia........and even further back to West Yorkshire and Leicestershire Counties and Houghton Towers in Lancashire- especially in the 1500s-----all in England. I hope the Taylor Swift Travis Kelce relationship keeps on going into the future. So good luck to both of them!

There was a puzzle - it always seemed hard to solve - but you guys solved it. That is: how to strike the balance between pride and humility. How not to come across as too much/too snotty, but at the same time, not being down on yourself, not a woe is me, or I am nothing, etc.. And also the many shades that exist between these two that are better but still not optimized. So the answer is and always has been this and exactly this. This podcast is perfectly optimal in terms of "how to be as humans". You are both so real and genuine and honest and you let your honest person out. You are both fearless in the best possible way. It is hard to be honest like this. Despite the fame that swirls. This is exactly how to be and something we can all emulate. Let people in. Fun loving, honest, heartfelt, truthful, not afraid to jab at each other a bit, but just letting us see you for who you are. We can emulate it in the classroom. With patients. With the public.
