James Travis Tritt (born February 9, 1963) is an American country music singer, songwriter, and actor. He signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1989, releasing seven studio albums and a greatest hits package for the label between then and 1999. In the 2000s, he released three studio albums on Columbia Records and one for the now defunct Category 5 Records. Seven of his albums (counting the Greatest Hits) are certified platinum or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA); the highest-certified is 1991's It's All About to Change, which is certified triple-platinum. Tritt has also charted more than 40 times on the Hot Country Songs charts, including five number ones - "Help Me Hold On," "Anymore," "Can I Trust You with My Heart," "Foolish Pride", and "Best of Intentions" - and 15 additional top ten singles. Tritt's musical style is defined by mainstream country and Southern rock influences.
He has received two Grammy Awards, both for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals: in 1992 for "The Whiskey Ain't Workin'," a duet with Marty Stuart, and again in 1998 for "Same Old Train", a collaboration with Stuart and nine other artists. In addition, he has received four awards from the Country Music Association, and has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1992.
"Tell Me I Was Dreaming" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Travis Tritt. It was released in April 1995 as the fourth and final single from his album Ten Feet Tall and Bulletproof. It peaked at number 2 in the United States, and number 3 in Canada. The song was written by Tritt and Bruce Ray Brown.

Yeah me too. She's not gone yet but she is. She has both dementia and Alzheimer's and she's kinda gave up on eating and drinking so since I'm the oldest, I'm in charge of all her treatments and they suggested she be put on hospice. So we started that about a week ago. Im going to miss her so much once she's gone.

An old biker guy I knew a long time ago passed away. It was in the winter and a few of us hearty souls decide that we will ride to the funeral home and wake. It was so effn cold I put heaters around the ole shovel so she would start in the morning. Fired up on the 2cd or 3rd kick and ff we went. It was about 20 or 25 degrees out. Rode to Ellwood City , PA. Not that far but brass monkey cold. At the end of the service they played this song, there wasn't a dry eye in Mr. Teolisis funeral home. After stopping at a local tavern or 2, we all Toasted George, Biker , ex police officer and Chief, and all-round good guy, I left for home . It didn't seem so cold.
