To sum it up. It is a coming of age story. The camera girl represents us. She got into Kpop when she was down and at a low point in life. It gave her comfort for the time but she started to ignore real life connection and it is destructive to her even more. She realized this and as she grew older she distanced herself from Kpop and started to make real life connections. That is when she found real happiness. However at the end, when she is older, she watched the tape representing that even though she moved on from Kpop it will always be there and when she look back at it, it will be a good memory. The deer also represents youth as in side A she saw the deer but side B the deer was leaving her meaning that she is growing up. Finally this relates to OMG in a way that Ditto is the fans relationship to the idols and OMG is the idols relationship to the fans.

People said Ditto is like a relationship between fans and idol, we as fans think that our idol is like our friend but in reality we don't know them and it looks like we are delusional or something. Meanwhile OMG is like a relationship between Idol and fans, idol feels like they have to do everything that the fans said, being a cat, a therapist, etc until they lost themself and become "crazy". Also when you watch OMG mv there is a scene where Hanni (iPhone girl) writes message to Heeso please answer the call (1:04) meanwhile here in Ditto side B there is a scene where Minji call her but she didnt answer it. Hanni also said in her monologue I exist for you, i will show you what you want to see, i will speak and sing for you. it douesnt matter who i am anymore i exist for you.

Newjeans MV always about different perspectives, depend from where you wanna see it. From fan pov, it can interpret as memories from childhood, when we like someone or something back in the good old days. I think the deer symbolize as a connector or line between fantasy and reality, cause everytime the girl (named Ban Hee Soo) face the deer, she comesback to reality. And surprisingly in Korea, there is a movie titled "Ditto". Its about a communication and relation through phone between two characters (man and woman) live in different times. And I read that back to ancient times in Korea, deer symbolize as divine animal that connect the god in the heaven and the shaman in the earth. I enjoy watching your reaction thx 👍

Yea the videos are supposed to be interpreted differently for each listener so NJs never really explain the stories. I prefer to focus on the lyrics so most of their songs sound they’re about sweet high school girls having crushes.
