That was super helpful. I feel like I had lots of spilling with the container. Not sure why. I had everything locked and only unlocked when about to pour. 😢🤦🏻‍♀️ I can’t figure out why.

thank you so much for your review...super helpful. how do you feel the difference is between the spectra vs willow's suction? I have the blue spectra and am debating to purchase the willow. Also, if I pump more than 5oz, will it leak right away or is there some leeway?

I feel like the willow suction is good. I think the flange style has more to do with what women think of it, it’s different than the traditional style flange. It’s a great option though. You can use the Willow app to watch the milk volume, and I THINK it notifies you or stops when it’s full, I’ll have to check that for sure. You can get the milk container for free until the end of January :) the Willow is an awesome option for on the go pumping. The spectra is a great option for heavy duty pumping.

How do you clean the inside of the container!? How do you get a brush in there? This is the one step missing from all videos. I want to see someone washing the parts.

I can make that video for you! The insert that pops out of the middle opens up the whole inside of the milk container. It’s very easy, no brush needed!

I haven’t heard that. They should be good for the lifetime of the pump I’d think. If you found that on the website, please share! I’d love to take a look.

I just received mine today and I have both the 1.0 and the 2.0 it’s not a perfect fit on the 1.0 but it work

It’s sucks that you can’t pump in any position with the milk container. I think this is the down fall of the Elvie pump.

Yes, but you’ve got to have that vent open. You can pump in any position if you use the bags!
