That's a great decision in my opinion, being willing to change and give more of your time to video production. No one really knows what the future holds and you definitely have to follow your "inner-compass" and you'll know you're on the right path. thumbs UP of course and I'm glad I found your channel!

For me floating water plants were really helpful. My goldfish spawned onto the roots of the plants once, which made it really easy to transport the eggs (I just had to make sure that no matter what, the eggs would stay under water).

Jenny I would love to see a few videos on how you're changing water with such small fry and how to use the python with a water pump instead of the sink/hose. You are pretty much responsible for empowering me that I could take my goldfish hobby to the next level with breeding. I am currently raising my first fry at 2 months old after a year of getting back into serious fish keeping. Every breeding video was of veteran fish keepers with drilled tanks. While that is a goal to help make it easier your fish keeping is a very novice friendly way. I have 4 forty breeders like you with the same sponge filter, Jehmco air pump, pvc line in my garage. Thank you so much and I look forward to future videos. BTW they are ryukins, as I'm trying to breed a black ryukin.

I really need some advice about a very large goldfish that I just inherited. I have never owned a goldfish, just bettas. To put the size of this fish in perspective, it was in a 30 gallon tank and barely had room to turn around. I put it in a 60 gallon tank but want to make sure I'm doing everything right!! It's so large and beautiful it would be a shame if I killed it!!! Please help!!

I never fed my Goldfish (when I had them) with straight dry food I put that kind of food in some water / wait some minutes.. and then.. drop the food (when is wet food). Dry food will grow inside them and that can cause problems (float upside down / belly up)

Hello Jenny! I recently just adopted two goldfish from my animal shelter and I wanted to know what I should try and avoid since I am not sure their age or their medical history. I am keeping a colder tank (no heater), light is on only 2-3 hours a day and the rest is natural sunlight during the day so they know when it's night time, they have two tiny catfish with them that help keep their tank clean, they eat well and they look good. The water is a little cloudy and I have done a water change and it stays cloudy. If you have any ideas or tips that I should try to keep them super healthy please let me know!
