It’s easy to understand for those of us that have been married to narcissists. My ex-wife is a narcissist and she only worries about herself. She’s incredibly selfish and doesn’t care who she hurts if it’s what SHE wants. This woman in the story is the same as my ex. She worries about herself and only herself. She thinks the world revolves around her. Narcissists are sick and dangerous people. My ex cheated on me and left me for her HS boyfriend and treated me like garbage during and after the divorce. She forced me to stay in the house so I could continue paying the bills or else she was going to challenge my custody with false accusations. When we were married I let her keep her entire teacher paycheck and I paid for everything so the thought of me moving out where she’d have to pay for some of her own expenses was simply unacceptable in her narcissistic mind. They’re awful people and if you meet one you’d be smart to run away as fast as possible. They’re crafty, sneaky, manipulative, deceptive, selfish liars who put their needs ahead of everyone including their children.

I also question Jordan’s intelligence or maturity. Before she got married, she obviously didn’t like the guy, but she was not self aware enough to know how she feels. Instead she texted her friend seeking her advice to tell her how was she supposed to feel when someone is in love with her. After she got married her anger grew more intense because she felt increased pressure . But she didn’t realize she had a choice say no and a choice to get out. She has a say in this and bears equal responsibility for entering in a marriage. Then after the police started to investigate, her plots including the made up tony email and the Holy Spirit leading her to the body to get the police off her back.. are just stupid. Cops are not school age children nor are the jury. I don’t know whether she was allowed to express her feelings at home or allowed to say no while growing up, she just didn’t act normal.

Jordan seemed to be pathologically afraid of intimate relations and she had every right to that but why then would she get married? Just stay single. Also, I'm a bit perplexed by her indicating that she wanted children. Where did she think they came from? Maybe she intended to adopt children. The fact is that she should have walked away from Cody because she obviously hated the very idea of being married. I think she married him because she liked the idea of the cake and the flowers and the dress and being the center of attention for one day but she certainly didn't marry him because she wanted to actually be married. What a shame that this young man got tangled up with such a psycho. I hope she spends the rest of her life behind bars. All she had to do was refuse to marry him!

As someone who struggles with fear of intimacy I think I can probably understand the disparity somewhat- though in absolutely no way do I condone murdering someone because of it. I can understand both wanting the companionship and children that we think of as “normal life”, if such a thing exists, and not being able to face the closeness and act in the moment. You may be right about her choosing to go through with the wedding because of the attraction of attention and the beautiful ceremony, I can’t speak to that. For me, all that fuss is deeply uncomfortable.

There’s no understanding of pure evil that she is. Everything she says must be taken with grain of salt because the murderers always make up excuses and want lenient sentences so whatever she says is most likely not the whole truth and especially her motive(s) like ”fear of intimacy” seem like bs. It was specifically him who she didn’t feel like that much is obvious so that she still dragged on thru all the way to marriage tells me she was using him for everything with the promise of sex and she knew she could use every excuse to suck him dry before marriage but once it was time to ”give it up” she rather did happily murdered him

My parents are ultra-religious whackjobs who both believe sex is wrong and dirty. My brother and i are both adopted, and to this day i don't believe they've ever completely touched one another. Married 50 years but have never so much as shared a straw. My point is, I'm wondering if Jordan had the same white-hot panic/psychotic reaction to sex, due to hardcore religious overzealousness? They were never exactly affectionate to my brother, but they HAD actually voluntarily adopted him as a 1 year old, whereas I was foisted upon them at 4 years and they just kinda 'kept' me thru a mixture of apathetic resignation (they were permanently stuck with me) and religious obligation to ensure i wouldn't get ideas above my station as the underprivileged and undeserving, dirty, disobedient, lazy, and mentally r*tarded child i was, who just needed to be grateful for electricity and food. (They adopted me when i was 12, after a psychologist suggested i would behave 'less weird' socially if they included me in their family.) I don't know what made my parents the way they are (i suspect one was sexually abused and that the other was abused by parents verbally/physically), but they're still pretty positive they're heroes for rescuing--and attempting to 'save'--me. They believe their methodologies were perfectly reasonable, though they lie their faces off about what they actually did, so i'm pretty sure they understand at least enough to be ashamed, whether or not they are. They adopted kids because that was 'the next phase in life for young marrieds' and since they wouldn't/couldn't procreate, they bought their children. They approached parenting as a commercial undertaking, then as a neglectfully-militant religious undertaking. I've lived a great life since i left them. I've had lingering health issues as a result of my early years, but i cobbled together a real family of people i met living all over the world teaching music. My life is more full than they could even comprehend, and i don't compromise my happiness by stepping back into their misery, y'know? @@LeenaStark

@@ingridfong-daley5899 Thank you for such an elaborate response, it truly allowed me to _envision_ the type of "life" youve had to endure and moreover: SURVIVE through w/ those _people._ I KNOW 'their' type, I have encountered many like them during the course of my life on this planet. Their *tragedy* is that they are not aware as to HOW fortunate they were in having a child like YOU. I say this to you as a woman and a mother who was beyond fortunate to have raised my 3 _step children_ , and who REMAINED with me after my _husband_ decided to leave us for another woman, and while I was 7 months pregnant w/ his child. My 3 children decided to remain w/ me and their _biological mother_ was "relieved" in "unburdening" herself of having to _care for them_ ---- and their father didnt put up a fight either. Those children were my GIFT from GOD, I firmly believe it. They helped me raise their baby sister, and all of them ventured out on their own once they met their _significant others_ and today have children of their own. I am now a grandmother of 6 beautiful ANGELS, and I consider myself BLESSED in this respect, because I consider children to be a GIFT from God, in order to show us that He truly LOVES us ---- whether these children are our own biological children, or --- God has CHOSEN to place them into our lives through some other means. I am so happy to know that you have emerged WHOLE out of that home and away from those _people_ ---- and that you have managed to SUCCEED in both your personal and professional life! That to me, is the best REVENGE! May God continue to BLESS and PROSPER you in every way possible, and to STRENGTHEN and EMPOWER you in overcoming any and all of Life's obstacles, now and forevermore. Much LOVE, hugs and best wishes to you across the miles, and God be with you always my dear. 🌹

@@ingridfong-daley5899 Glad to hear that about your life working out. I was in a religious cult at one point. Those cults are purely satanic. God said nothing about being prudish about married sex. The cult I was in encouraged married couples to rat on each other if one wanted to do something that wasn't your typical man on top sex. They were mean people. That's how you know it's demonic. They do not have the peace and joy of Jesus Christ with the goal of treating all people in a loving manner. Sure, they put on a good exterior front of being warm and friendly until you're trapped. Thank God, He delivered me from such mess. Enjoy your life! God bless you and yours! Jesus said we will know His true followers by the fruit they produce. Apparently, Jordan's fruit reveals otherwise.

She's lesbian and was hoping she could hide within this marriage. Realised she couldn't tolerate being touched by a man and her hubris wouldn't let her admit her mistake.

I feel real bad for Cody, but dude had blinders on! I’m not judging him because most of us, including myself, were young and dumb and thought we were in love at some point in life. All that being said, it sounds like she was treating him like crap before they got married, which is why it’s baffling as to what he saw in her! Wish this guy had the opportunity to drop this witch and find someone deserving of his love.

I imagine she manipulated this young man with the promise of sex. Sounds like he may have had strong feelings for her. I won't say he loved her because he didn't know her. Who would ever think they are dealing with someone so evil?

To really understand this type of person you definitelly need a profiler or a psychologist. There is an absolute lack of empathy, (sexual experience and disgust), a lack of control of her emotions, an idealisation of marriage and the thought, that her husband should be responsable for her "cloud nine"-feelings. The only regret she has is not her action, but the consequences for herself. From her point of view, he made her do this! Unfortunatelly, her personality is narcissistic and sociopathic. This condition is pathological. She will never change. The only thing we all can do is, to stay away from these people and to warn others. I hope this helps family and friends to get better trough grief. May your son, friend, nephew and grandchild rest in peace. (An may he haunt her in her worst nightmares!)

Renee's case is THE REASON there is so MUCH DISTRUST for the justice system. We have criminals taking $$ that sit on the benches in our HIGHEST COURTS. Unreal. Hope Renee and family get to live a wonderful life together.

This man must be one very strong. And God definitely had a plan for him. And justice for the bad. He must be so proud of his children and his children must be proud of their dad. Amazing story.

the saddest thing is she only got thirty years for taking a life, she should have gotten the death penalty. it just goes to show you that someone that lives in church and is so godly can be so evil like the devil him self. she should be in jail the rest of her life at the very least. how hard would it be for her to say this is not for me and get an annulment or divorce . they had no kids, they had no house, they could have just walked away.

No, she was not godly...going to a church does not make ANYONE godly (not even pastors, preachers etc...) what makes someone godly 1st begins with having an intimate, personal relationship with The Lord. Going to a church regularly or whatever... Has *ABSOLUTELY N-O-T-H-I-N-G AT ALL* to do with someone being a true follower of Christ. Someone that has a real relationship with God does not, will not & cannot do such thing's... PERIOD. Who someone is concerning God/Jesus has NOTHING AT ALL to do with "church attendance." There have been many people throughout history & just people in general who do & say horrific thing's in the name of God & are also very hypocritical... Understand... Those people are *NOT* followers of Christ or servants of God, when they do this. Only God can break them, change people like that & bring them to repentance, but they are not of God when they do such thing's. God Himself said, you will know who is His & who is not His by "their fruits..." meaning, how they live, behave TREAT OTHER'S. A true follower of Christ FOLLOWS & LIVES by the Word of God... Not saying they are perfect, no one is .. but they strive to live a righteous life in obedience to God & clearly that does NOT include murdering your spouse or anyone. The young woman in the video showed who she was serving... It was satan, evil, the enemy of God. She was not a christian.
