My husband and I have been married for 28 years this year. We only dated for six weeks. I would NEVER advise anyone to try that. It was really hard for me because I was 27 about to be 28 and he had just had just made 26. It took me a minute to learn to compromise. My husband's parents have been married for nearly 60 years. My parents divorced when I was three so we were from different worlds. The one thing he said to me when we got married was that we would be married forever. He has kept his word and here we are. If you communicate with one another in the very beginning, it's possible.

I understand what Karen means about having anxiety. I’m the same way and I know for me it stemmed from childhood. Karen wasn’t one of my favs on MAFS because of how she was portrayed but I’m glad to see her and Miles still thriving. I think the right person brings it out of you and her concerns while she was on the show are definitely valid especially what it has turned into since their season ended.

Karen truly blessed me tongt. Her vulnerability is refreshing and she made me realize just how anxiety works.. and many of us unfortunately have it. When I find myself over thinking and thinking if the what if that hasn't happened yet.. that is anxiety. God makes me aware and leads me to truth. What is real and what is fear based Then I'm able to pray and share my concerns to God and ask for the good I desire out of the outcome instead. Chosing me 1st isn't selfish, it's self care so like Tabatha said I can be enabled to give myself to others more effectively and keep some left in my tank once I'm done giving. So very inspired by these marriages. I pray they have All the best and stay married
