You can't cancel your council tax . it gets sent to you every year you mean you've cancelled your direct debit . well good luck with that one . because the council will soon be on to you , to pay it . and if you don't , they will take you to court the only way it will work . is if everybody cancels and doesn't pay . A mate of mine became homeless 6 weeks ago and begged the local council to give him shelter somewhere and they said no places were available so he asked if they would pay for him to stay in a B & B until he gets on his feet and they laughed at him and said they don't house people in hotels or bed and breakfast places. He sleeps on the streets now in Manchester and I think he'll be dead in 6 months. I can't help him as I am out of the country. The problem is he is a white British man like myself. At my old flat they turned a b and b nearby into an immigrant hotel and I felt intimidated as well! Then one evening in 2019 I realised that I hadn't seen them for ages but hadn't thought anything of it and it turned out they had all moved and were no longer at the b and b and that made my night! At the old flat they moved some illegals into the flat upstairs and they were noisy and one day I had had enough and had got on the stepladder and banged on the ceiling with a Broom as I was so fed up! I'm not mean and don't mind an odd party now and again but that was ridiculous! It wasn't the parties in themselves that upset me it was the attitude that did!

Lock up your daughters!😮😮😮 Get a dog and train him in basic obedience. Run your dog around every hotel. I had two Irish Wolfhounds.. I highly recommend these wonderful family dogs for anyone who has the inclination to have the best of the best on your arm. A Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a great dog to have in your family. Training is simply repeating the same simple commands every day. Positive reinforcement will reward you with the best friend you need moving forward. Walk your dogs peoples. I had a German Shepherd. Well trained. Very friendly and loyal towards loved ones but would protect without a 2nd thought if she sensed danger. My best friend and bodyguard. She disliked foreigners. Sensed badness.

Newmillerdam lake/park just round the corner from there, lovely little village, expensive houses, lots of dogwalkers & young families walk around the lake, its quite secluded & peaceful, I'd steer well clear.

I was staying in the area last year and saw groups of illegal immigrants walking around. I was going to go into the pub for a meal but decided not to bother. We used to go to this hotel when we were younger for drinks and it was lovely and is now a dive what a shame.
