Andrew was awesome, I'm impressed with how consistently straight his ball launch is, I would love to have that swing ability. FYI, Titlelist TSR2 drivers can be had on sale in the US for $450, still more than many of us can justify, but the results it provided Andrew are amazing.

@@3frogltd987 _"FYI, Titlelist TSR2 drivers can be had on sale in the US for $450, still more than many of us can justify, but the results it provided Andrew are amazing."_ That is nuts to me to pay $450 for a driver (at least right now and until I change my gender to: Rich and Retired), I am struggling to justify using up gas and going to look at Goodwill for a ~$5 driver, lol.

I am in London, UK and for the past few years have downloaded and printed off a sheet for something called the Penny Challenge. It consists of on day one, which can be any day you choose to start but I usually use 1st January each year, putting 1 pence/1 penny/1p in a jar, tin or whatever and then marking it off on the printed sheet. You then put in 2p in on day two, 3p on day three (don't worry, I will not type up all 365 days) so that by day 365 you have close to £700. The sheets are available online in other currencies like dollars too and you can even save in reverse by putting in £3.65 on the first day and work backwards so it gets easier as the days go by, or if after each day you have an odd total of coins in your pocket like say £1.28, then you can jump to the day you should be marking off that figure or mark off several days that add up to £1.28. Here in the UK we have Poundland stores where everything (used to) cost £1 and I buy a sealed metal money box tin with a slot in the top and use a tin opener to open it when it is full. I am sure that there are similar stores in Canada and America too like Dollar Stores and then I take the coins to a coin counter machine at one of the banks I use, but any container will do, it is just that the sealed tin helps with not dipping into it for loose change. If you have young kids, you can even get them involved by allowing them to put the coins into the slots and mark off the days on the sheet, plus if they enjoy it then you can threaten to make them miss a day or days if they play up a bit. There are other sheets too where you save random figures like £3, £20, £12, £32 a time that you mark off in the order of your choice, that comes to around £1000 over the course of a year when all amounts are marked off.

Awesome vid!!! Only thing is he doesn't need to spend money on a new driver. Last years model or even a 2 year old used driver will fit his budget. You spend the money to go get fit then go buy last years driver with the same shaft. He probably would hit the Titliest TSi just as good. Or the stealth 2 or the Ping G425. I did the same thing. The dark speed was the best in my fitting. Payed for the fitting and then went and found a good condition aerojet driver and put the same shaft in it. Very little difference. Upgraded shaft and all. For me, next year, the dark speed will depreciate 200 bucks or more( its a cobra) ill upgrade to the darkspeed i was fitted for and sell the aerojet. Do your research and ya save a bundle.

Great job guys. It is interesting. I do think the regular flex driver shafts have just way too much kick in them and dispersion wise you end up spraying them all over the place. I'm not a golf expert but looking at his swing speed. He would definitely benefit from a stiff shaft with a slightly lower kick point and that way if he does pull one it's just gonna be a pool left and it won't be in the bush. I really like your channel mate and you treat your customer as well.

Only the second video I've seen of yours, and the first video I've seen anywhere that made some of these differences actually make sense to me as a new golfer. I would really dig watching you take through a professional training! I just really enjoyed the guys attitude, as a viewer you two worked well together. How does a non traditional golfer/ blue collar guy go about trying out a new fancy driver or any club without just buying it ? I bought my first set of clubs Apr 22nd this year from play it again sports and just put my first Eagle down on a par 5 last week. While I feel pretty good now and not embarrassing myself on the course I'm still so confused when it comes to all the lingo and gear topics that I don't enjoy going to the pro shop for shoes let alone clubs. I've got a set of older precept EZ irons that are way to short for me but I'm getting pretty darn accurate with a goofy Big Buddha driver that I'm not setting the world on fire with but overall I've got fairly dialed in. My problem is I've got a better chance of guessing the powerball numbers in order than I do putting a 3 wood shot within 50 yards of my target, it's all over the place. How does someone like me who plays twice a week but other than that doesn't know anything about golf go buy a proper new club ?

The best club fitting experience you can have is at a specialty club facility like a Modern Golf where I’m filming in this video (Canada) or a Club Champion, GolfTec or even a semi-private club near you. I’d avoid the multi-sport stores and go somewhere golf specific. Hope that helps.

Awesome stuff. Very cool to see such great off the rack results with trials. As a viewer that was great content. You might have Andrew in more videos for the off the rack clubs in the rest of the bag? The varying results of the drivers was surprisingly drastic to me. The stock Titleist and Taylormade were crazy good and so much better than the rest for him. Andrew should definitely put that Titleist driver on his birthday list. 3,000 likes and youtube should give that man that Titleist driver! Fair to say Titleist took #1. Why do you suppose he leaned toward the ping as a second place over the QI? It seemed to me like better results with the QI over the Ping and it is less expensive.

2 things… 1) I got fitted in March and the TSR2 was hands down the best for me. I was constantly seeing 1.51 smash and even got a 1.53 smash factor, fitting was done on a trackman. 2) you should let him know the titleist drive is $150 off right now. I’m sure he’d jump on that!

Great work Andrew! Love the improvements in just this fitting! I’m currently looking for a new driver and am torn between the TSR2 and the QI10 Max….have played both recently during rounds and both have been pretty great at hitting fairways. Today I used the QI10 and I wanted to not like it cause I find it quite big and shiny compared to the sleek TSR2….but it hardly missed a fairway and I never got any big fades esp. into the wind (my scary miss). The TSR2 gave me a few right misses the day before….. I may have my answer…..

I like Andrew's swing, attitude, everything. Golf is an expensive sport and it's gotten crazy expensive. I like the idea of working on changing the shaft in his current driver over buying a new one .
