I didn’t get the impression that the road was “in Billy’s mind” so much as a place Billy physically (magically) created under west view. Which would explain the random metro station, and why Jen came up out of the earth at the end. So he killed them *with* his mind, but they were all actually on “the road” (and not in a way that they were all under some sort of collective illusion). Which would also explain why he had to go close the door

The parallels between Agatha/Wanda and their kids are really well done. They both had children knowing they would meet an early end but (selfishly) chose to have them anyways, if only for a short amount of time. If the children never were, they would’ve never had to die.

Billy’s “killing” the witches was very different from Agatha’s killing. He created a road where the killed witches all healed! He also healed Agatha.
