Wow so much horror! Too bad those Kino ones are not new transfers. Still I might buy them. Terror At The Opera! This looks like the definitive edition what I wonder it's the price because a set like this and Severin doesn't sell cheap. Maybe $120?🤑 Question:Is it available for pre-order already? Because I think it will sellout fast. I saw Terror At The Opera in theaters 5 times! It was the last Argento film I saw in theaters. Anyway thanks for the heads up Richard!👉🙂👈

Thank you Hector! I hope you're doing good. I wish those Kino ones had new transfers too. The older ones are fine but could look so much better. Kingdom Of The Spiders is the only one that has a newer transfer since it was done for the Code Red release a few years ago. But the others are for sure ten years old or more. I can't wait for Opera! So excited for it. I am expecting that one to be pricey too. I hope it isn't $120. Though I am thinking it could be around $60 or $70. Not sure if they will announce the price before the sale or not. I think they will have a lot so I don't think it will sell out right away luckily. I'm sure they know it will sell really well. But I still think we should plan to pre-order it right away to be safe. lol

So excited for Frogs. I ended up getting Frogs and Squirm from Kino. I might pick up Opera too. I hope Severin announces something exciting. I know it's unlikely but I'm always hoping someone announces Blood Beach

I really want Blood Beach as well. The last I heard it was one that was tied up in some rights issues. There are a few films where the original distributor was bought out several times over the years then the rights get muddied. Sometimes these films revert back to the original producer(s) who also may or may not be around anymore. It gets complicated. But I really hope someone can get it straightened out and get that one out there.

I already have The Hitcher very nice slipcover from Umbrella 🌂......also Caligula 4k collector edition just been announced .....if uinterested in what mad crazy Emperors did in their pleasure time😂. I watched Caligula for the first time several years ago and it was everything I had heard it was. lol I am so excited for Opera. THat is one I have been waiting for a 4K release what feels like a long time. Day one purchase definitely!

For the Kino titles, I assume you're quoting the current Amazon pricing. $24.95 is the msrp, which I think Kino rarely sells at. They're all currently $16.59 each directly from Kino. Looking forward to all of the Kino, but Squirm, Frogs, and Kingdom Of The Spiders in particular. Squirm, I slept on SF's release. Squirm was one of if not the first horror film that I saw. And SF's Frogs was part of a double feature. I generally dislike double features of unrelated films so it'll be good to have Frogs on its own.

I'm looking forward to a lot of those new re-releases too. I saw Kingdom Of The Spiders on TV as a kid and it creeped me out so it always has a special meaning for me. I feel the same way with Frogs. I don't like double feature releases either unless they are connected. I'll be happy to have it on its own.
