The same J-vote incident occurred in Palakkad in 2019 when Shafi won with the support of J-votes during the final hours of counting. It’s disheartening that this community, instead of adapting to modern values, operates so adamantly like a closed corporate. Are they so naive that they fail to see the bigger picture? With the municipality under BJP's control, wouldn’t it have been more sensible to ensure BJP’s victory for better support in district development? To them, religion seems more important than progress-a truly shameful and saddening reality. Individuals like Shafi pose a significant threat to the future of Kerala politics. He is like a poisonous snake with extremist intentions, cleverly hiding behind a public facade. Once their community reaches 35% of Kerala’s population, these individuals could become an extreme danger to the state's future. Mark my words: there are many silent operators like Shafi in both the LDF and UDF, preparing for aggressive actions over the next decade. It’s no surprise that Dr. Ambedkar referred to this community as a closed corporate in 1948. It’s tragic that Hindus and Christians remain so ignorant of the looming danger in the future and work as a team.
