Sanskrit was spoken only on Oral transmission and that too only memorizing the Vedas. Sanskrit did not have script until the Gupta period 300-400CE. Sanskrit borrowed words and lexical style from Tamil to write 'Rig Veda' around 3500BCE. Later Sanskrit also borrowed scripts from Devanagari, Nepali, Bengali and Prakrit. Buddha and Asoka did not use Sanskrit because there was no Sanskrit script during their times-300BCE. If you know history then talk. Otherwise don't disrespect a honorable and achieved Archaeologist. I hope you will come out of your Aryan ego and appreciate the history and its truth.
