Who is Marvel's Gladiator? Now THAT'S an Ego Boost!

This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Marvel Comics character "Gladiator." From being a member of the powerful Strontian race born in the Shi'ar Empire, his real name "Kallark" being a tribute to the names Kal-El and Clark Kent of DC Comics' Superman, likewise having a power-set that is very similar to that of a Kryptonian, questionably earning the right to be the "Praetor" or leader of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, having conflicts and cooperating with many superheroes like the X-Men, Avengers, and Inhumans, joining the Annihilators team, multiple bouts with Skrulls and battles during the Shi'ar and Kree War, having a special loyalty to Empress Lilandra Neramani, to countless battles with some of the strongest Marvel characters such as The Hulk, Silver Surfer, Black Bolt, Thor, Onslaught, Vulcan, Phoenix Force, and more; Let's take a look at this powerful Marvel superhero / anti-hero, and rival to all who are enemies of the Shi'ar Empire. Top notch fighters never affected his confidence. It is when something impossible happens like when he was punching a Reed Richards (that was secretly an energy construct) who couldn't be harmed, causing him to doubt his powers.

I remember gladiator's entrance from the old Xmen cartoon show when i was a kid. he made himself known by coming from the sky, blocking the juggernauts punch effortlessly and throwing him equally effortlessly like a he was just a small stone in his hands. and impressive entrance for the cartoon series, since no other characters could face the juggernaut

Yeah, you're right. Although it was interesting in that when the real Thor fought him later on, the two fights were very similar. Both times, Gladiator put him down early and seemed to have an advantage in speed and strength. Then Thor got to swinging the hammer and that was all she wrote.

Gladiator was always one of my favorite Xmen characters. I think it would be absolutely Amazing to have him introduced into the MCU. Now that Marvel has the film rights back to the Xmen, we need to see Gladiator sooner rather than later. Overall though Gladiator is a power-house of a character.
