well, friends don't let a drunk friend leave alone in a strange city to find their way back to the hotel. They all leave together, they get a Lyft, and they get safely back to the hotel. Riley is not the first person who has been walking around Nashville after drinking and gone into the Cumberland River. Tourists getting drugged on Broadway is a known fact. Google it. Usually it is to steal your wallet or get something out of your purse. It has been reported more than once. It is a prime target for this stuff because everyone knows huge amounts of alcohol are consumed on Broadway. It is crowded. Most are tourists. Sitting targets from the locals who want to take advantage of you.

We don’t all know it. When he did and told the others, by the time they got out of the bar, Riley had left. This raises a lot of questions about anyone else ever found in the river there. The "someone got drunk and fell in the water" explanation doesn't work very well in this area. So why were so many people found in the river during the search for Riley? And were those people displaying injuries consistent with someone falling down through that same terrain? Seems like a very dangerous place for anyone in a vulnerable state- not because of the fall risk as much as the apparent threat of ending up in a river because of whatever OTHER activities are going on at night in that area.

Maybe the Strain family should look into hiring a notable attorney and filing a wrongful death suit against the city. It's obvious to anyone with a working brain that there wasn't anything close to a complete investigation. It actually looks more like a cover-up to be honest. The city doesn't want the bad publicity from all the crap that's going on there, so instead they try to sweep everything under the rug. I feel bad for you and others that live there and witness the fall of a once beautiful city. I live in Kentucky and Tennessee is one of my favorite states to visit, although it's usually Gatlinburg. The problems in Nashville remind me of what's happening in California. Dark money and unseen forces seem to be purposely hellbent on destroying many of America's cities lately! If Riley had been found with his belt , pants & cowboy boots on I could understand people thinking it may have been an accident that he fell in the river. If Riley undid his belt & pants maybe to relieve himself by the river & he slipped in you would think his cowboy boots would have stopped his pants from coming completely off his body . I know when I wear boots they NEVER EVER just slip off my feet in fact it’s such a job to remove them having someone help get them off is good . I don’t think Riley would have taken his boots off if indeed he did need to relieve himself & I don’t think water would have helped them to slip off unless his boots were ridiculously too big for his feet . Wearing socks would make the boots quite fitting also . I just really hope if it is foul play that this poor young fella gets justice. My heart truly goes out to his poor mother and family 💔😢

I also feel like he was stalked and I hope that they are paying attention to surveillance footage of any cars or people following him. I cannot tell if it was set up by people that knew him or if it was a stranger who picked him randomly at the bar.. it does feel like there was a sacrifice or ritual aspect to it and that makes me think some of the fraternity brothers were involved or know more than they have come forth about. I do feel like it was set up well in advance before they even went there. Was there anyone close to him that was a friend but wasn't at the same time.. does that make sense? like a frenemy? I would look into every avenue and don't give up because I feel strongly that this was not an accident and I do not feel that he just fell into the river.

Being a psychic, have you had any dreams or visions since that night that would relate to Riley, the woods or water? Just a thought. Also, I remember reading that one of the so-called frat 'brothers' walked downstairs from the bar, either with Riley or right as he was leaving. Why would he take the time to do that and not take a few more minutes to help him get an Uber or a taxi back to the hotel? Could he have known something but his conscience was bothering him? Were those guys even questioned by police?? What about the bar employees? Could there be some kind of scam going on between a bar employee and another person or persons out on the street? The bartender watches for an easy mark, someone who obviously has had too much alcohol already, he serves him one drink (drugged) then kicks him out, knowing full well he wouldn't be capable of fighting anyone off. Meanwhile his counterpart on the street gets a code message telling him the mark just left the bar. They're watching from close by and take it from there. Someone said that Riley went to another bar. Even if that's true, he could still be followed without noticing in his condition. Maybe they caught up with him and the attempted robbery, or whatever, didn't go as planned. And they hurt him, either intentionally or accidentally. And they panicked, and made it look like a drowning. Were people at the homeless camp involved or did they witness anything? So many questions and not enough answers. I believe the cops know more than they're saying. It's just so sad that his family can't get the answers they need for them to have some semblance of closure. 😢

I've been to Nashville and i have said there was no way he fell over and reached the water alone. There are trees and limbs he would definitely got caught on something before hitting the water. And NO im not ignorant or stupid!!
@kathi75026 ай бұрын
I was shocked when I watched the video and saw how steep that hillside was. Between that and all the trees and brush, I thought there was no way he fell and no marks or broken bones! I believe the cops know more than what they're saying. I hope the toxicology report shows something, unless it ends up altered somehow. Nothing would surprise me about this mystery! Justice for Riley!

I've seen so many comments on here from people that live in Nashville, regarding the rampant crime and how it's no secret that so many others are victims of getting 'roofied' in the Broadway area. This sounds like a much larger problem than what authorities are disclosing. Maybe some of you should volunteer to contact NewsNation or the Strain family and relay your information. You guys could be voices for Riley. This could possibly help to get the investigation broadened and get more answers for Riley's family. After all, don't they deserve to know the facts about their son's death? Wouldn't you want to find out everything you could if this happened to your family member? Justice for Riley!

Why haven't the police taken the cell phones of each fraternity member in Nashville that night to check for videos, text messages, and phone calls? I think it's interesting not one of Riley's fraternity brothers went with him once he was asked to leave the bar. So much for caring for your "brother."
@kathi75026 ай бұрын
Just wanted to kindly tell you his name was Riley, not Ryan. And I totally agree. I feel that they could have had some animosity towards Riley for some reason. They could have been pretending to be his buddies. Jealousy, envy or something else was maybe at play that made him the 'outsider' of the so called 'brotherhood'. Maybe they enjoyed bullying him because he was different somehow and he didn't fit in enough. Alcohol can exacerbate those feelings. College kids can be so cruel. Hazing is just one example. Who knows what happens behind closed doors and the secrets that they keep. Something just doesn't add up and I pray that his family gets some answers!

I too am surprised that none of the frat brothers have spoken to Strains parents. They've probably been advised by their parents to not say anything, a big conspiracy is going on seems to me. That is just disgusting, horrible behavior on their part. SHAME ON THEM! The truth will out!! Not one single REAL man in the group!

I agree with the family. If it was clear how Riley died, everyone would come to terms with his death. There are too many pieces that don't add up. Good for Chris Dingman and the famly for keeping this in front of the public. Kudos to NewsNation, too. Back in March, after seeing the videos in the beginning of the search, I thought Riley may have been drugged. I googled information about the drugs that are used. If he had been drugged, the way the body metabolizes the drug, it may not show up in the toxicology report. I think the people who do spike drinks, know this about the drug. There were some posts on reddit specifically about the Nashville bars. Spiking drinks seems to be too common. There were warnings to be careful about the water jugs at the bars in Nashville. It will take time, but the truth will come to light. Someone out there knows something. Continued prayers for Chris and the family.

Please don't pledge fraternities and sororities. They are paid friends. Find your own friends that are genuine and not paid to like you. I saw it first hand in college. Many of the people in those organizations would have never been friends if they weren't associated with each other through those organizations.

I am getting the same feeling I got from the the families of the three Kansas City Chiefs fans. A parent trying to cope with the completely unexpected death is a rough road that is not easily endured. When that child's death is not able to be fully known or has some mystery surrounding it, a parent can fixate on that, and psychologically you can see they are looking for an outlet for the intense sadness and anger they have within. You can not blame the young man who overendulged while out on the town having a night to remember. You can't accept the simplistic answer that your chiild died due to an accident. You could (and I think should) direct a lot of that anger toward the bar scene in Nashville b/c they shutdown the streets in the bar district, which means the only way out is to walk. I think this is the story that we should be telling. How bars egg you on and create this "Mardi Gras' vibe night after night, but are also known for tossing people out and having the mindset that as soon as their boots touch sidewalk they are no longer "your problem". . If you are too intoxicated to stay in a bar, then you are too intoxicated to be left alone to try to figure it out. Its not at all morally or ethically permissible for the bars to allow for this. Many things can be done better and not at all effect the frenzied fun aspect to Nashville. If the family feels compelled to do something, then I hope the family shifts their energy and efforts into preventing the next family from suffering their grief. There is a lot of good that can be done to honor Riley.

If you watch the footage of him leaving the bar he does not seem intoxicated he seems to be walking fine I believe whatever happened happened after he got out of camera range most likely the Silence of the fraternity Brothers is at the urging lawyers are family members don't agree with it but I can also understand it until the investigation is complete I don't think the family is telling everything either and the bar has an exactly said what he did to get kicked out so we may just have to wait till the investigation is complete and it goes to court
