I lived in the area when this happened and this fouled up investigation has infuriated me for decades. I've even wondered if the cop who is blocking everything wasn't somehow involved in the murder or a relative? I've since learned a lot about narcissists and the cop doesn't want to admit that he screwed up and lost pertinent materials? Something ain't kosher.

To know where her bedroom was, to know they use the back stairs, to know the amount of his bonus, to know where the suitcase could be found, to know where the paintbrush could be found, to know where to find paper in the dark, to know where to find a pen in the dark, to navigate the maze of the floorplan in the dark and silently.... this leaves a very short list of suspects. They talk about the length of time it takes to write the letter but what about writing 3 pages in the dark? Does the letter look like it was written in the dark? If the window was the entry/exit route, does it make sense that they intended to force her or carry her through that window? Then, if her through the window wasn't the intent, why write a ransom letter while leaving the victim to be found? All of these points would suggest a disorganized thinking culprit, but then they plan well enough to baffle everyone? I have tried to be objective about this case since the beginning but at this point, a cover-up is the only thing where all of these things make sense.

It was someone who knew them or had stalked them. It all boils down to the fact that this person spent several hours in the house familiarizing themselves with the entire house and they had a few hours to kill while the family was at the Christmas party-hence the time to write the ransom note. Its that simple
@AmyMed24

I agree killer have visited their home a couple of times and in fact must be on the xmas party that day and stayed in the soooo many rooms they have and attacked the poor baby girl 😱 RIP Jonbennet 🙏
@bjorojb6642
@bjorojb6642 Күн бұрын
The house was put in a Christmas list, other people enter the house because it was historical and saw the Christmas decoration. One of them must be killer. By my take is a kidnapping gone wrong. Jonbennet had told one of her friends she was going to get a secret Santa visit and a lot think that she knew the killer. The killer took great action to know she was dead, so I think she knew him. She was an extroverted child and children talk to anybody. The blow to the head, the strangulation- they made sure she was dead, maybe jonbennet didn’t want to go with them. Jon Ramsey had taken a sleeping pill, his wife was sick with cancer and they must have not heared anything. After the Christmas party they left the house for a family gathering and came back later at night around 9ish or 10ish, jonbennet was asleep and was carried to bed. The killer must have come in and wrote the note while they were gone, the killer most than likely knew them to have that much confidence. The note was left in the stairs prior to the killer going in the room to get jonbennet. Netflix documentary didn’t cover everything, they just want to remind the public and to keep her name alive until they find the killer. Also new dna technology now. They should run a genealogy to see if someone related to the killer is a match and from there narrow it down. A few cold cases murder of young women have been found that way.
@MrDave1963
@MrDave1963 Күн бұрын
@bjorojb6642 Plus, there was a Christmas tree in JonBenet's bedroom. If her bedroom was part of the tour, the murderer would know exactly where her room was before entering the house. I also think the killer may have staged this so that the Ramsey's or someone in their company would be charged with the murder. Why else would they mention the $118 bonus? They wanted this to look like it was a family member who committed this crime - the murderer screwed up when he left his DNA at the scene. No question in my mind that the police could find the killer with that dna using familial genealogy tactics.

AFTER the Grand Jury, Mary Lacy had more DNA test done. In 2003, the Boulder police developed a DNA profile from saliva found in her underwear and scrapings from both her hands under her fingernails. In 2007, Lacy had JB's clothing tested for "touch DNA" and then chronicled her findings. She apologized to the Ramseys and exonerated the entire family. She said, "The match of male DNA on two separate items of clothing worn by the victim at the time of the murder makes it clear to us that an unknown male handled these items". Lacy then compared the DNA found on both sides of Jonbenet's longjohns and it was a strong match to the profile in CODIS. Here are some of the references: 1. January 9, 1997 CBI Lab Report - Serology 2. January 15, 1997 CBI Lab Report - DNA Testing 3. 2007 Boulder District Attorney Memo: Comparing CODIS profile vs Bode Tech's Lab findings under JB's fingernails 4. Pherson Associates LCC, 2012 Report "The Disappearance and Murder of Jonbenet Ramsey" 5. People Magazine - December 3, 2024 If you can't find all the documents, search "the facts about the DNA jonbenet" and a reddit sub has the documents listed.

Watch the CBS documentary on it. The forensic Chinese guy - said the DNA could have come from a female that worked in the factory. The police and Ramsey family both don’t want the case solved; 1. It shows how badly the case was handled, and 2. I believe the Ramsey’s know who did it (probably Burke) and they’re trying to protect him.

@madinfl03 problem being she was wiped down & changed. The underwear was several sizes too big. Probably not even hers. The touch DNA could've been picked up anywhere & may not relate to the case. The investigation ends at the phony ransom note. An "intruder," would have to assume you will have pen and paper ready for them to write such a note. It doesn't make sense cause it's fake. No one is going to break in and murder a child in the house. Why would an "intruder," tell them to be rested when they were supposedly already asleep in their beds? LOL. I so agree with you- It was Jon Ramsey. They have TOUCH DNA evidence, which any credible investigator will say can be transferred by many people in many situations that are innocent. It does create reasonable doubt, which is why Mr Ramsey loses nothing by speaking up now. Even if his DNA is identified so what? He’s the dad and it could’ve gotten there by simply hugging her. There are far too many coincidences, weird actions and investigation blocks put forward by the family early on for me to believe at least some of them weren’t involved- This was a ritual sacrifice involving sorcery; it was the Parents. Also, EVERYONE, watch on KZbin the Larry King interview he did with one of the Lead detectives, Steve Thomas, and the parents of Jon Bennet: both Pat and John Ramsey- Steve Thomas knew it was them; that is why he left the police department, enough evidence was there and the cops ignored it. What I think is her dad was sexually abusing her, there is proof that she was sexually abused before her death. I think her dad was in a sect and was having others also rape her, thus the semen found. Rape is used in Ritual Sacrifices

I don't think that ransom note is a big mystery. Psychopaths enjoy inflicting pain, physical and emotional pain. They enjoy torment, and that note was probably just a way of tormenting the family of the victim. More victims. The killer was probably hoping the family would find the note, and in their panic fail to find the body for a time. I think the original profiler's assessment was spot on.

My current speculation is that it could have been someone who had been in an affair with Patsy, a disgruntled ex. They might have had access to the house from previous visits, perhaps even with a key. The movie references in the ransom note being a reminder of where they used to go together maybe, and using her notepad would leave doubts about her innocence. It's a very twisted scenario, but to destroy JBR and leave Patsy in the frame would be a perfect revenge for being rejected if you were a psychopath.

I don't believe the dna will change anything. This is all about John trying to quiet things down because of Burke stirring things up again on Dr Phil. Dna was under her nails and (trace) on her pj's. Reports have said that she clawed at the cord on her neck, so the dna under her nails are likely hers. And her pj's were brand new (unwashed) from the store. So dna is likely from the store/factory workers who handled the packaging. This whole "we must test the dna" is a distraction. A red herring.

Interesting how KZbin removed my comment about dna. I wrote that running the dna won't matter. Reports showed that poor girl clawed at her neck because of the choking cord. So dna under her nails would be hers. And if dna on her clothes is trace it probably came from store/factory workers are they were new/unwashed Christmas pj's. Basically unrelated dna to the case. I had the theory that Burke hit her and Patsy and John worked together to cover it up because they thought she was dead. Patsy wrote the note and John staged "the body". By not calling for an ambulance they were responsible for her death. Note: when Patsy called 911 she changed from saying "ambulance" to "police". Burke had to seek attention by going on Dr Phil. This is all Burke's fault, start to finish. To try to quiet the mob John is trying to distract attention away from his family by suggesting a red herring.

The Boulder PD hired 2 private handwriting analysts & they also took the note to the Secret Service for 2 of Their experts, all 4 said NO Ramsey wrote the note. The Ramsey’s attorneys also hired 2 of the best in the country & both said the same. A few of the letters had the formation Similar to the formation of Some of Patsy’s letters because that’s how it was SET UP To BE. The letter formations were Not the only aspect that told the Real experts that NO Ramsey was involved in the writing of that Ridiculous note. And, the public have Never SEEN Patsy’s actual writing. From the 1st week of 1997 til 2007, DNA testing was done at 3 separate labs. Within the 1st Two Weeks, the results of DNA testing were back - from under both of JB’s pinkie fingernails - Unknown male DNA, mixed with JonBenet’s DNA. Steve Thomas & his cronies kept this vital result from the DA for 7 months & so of course, the public too. The same Steve Thomas who had Never worked a murder case before but later went on to Pretend that he was lead detective & he still does. Two spots of blood were in the underpants but that was Never tested. Steve Thomas got around the office constantly talking about the book he was going to write. It wasn’t until the grand jury were to convene when the Ramsey’s attorneys found out about the 2 spots of blood & the DA finally ordered that to be tested. The blood was JBs plus Unknown male DNA being saliva mixed in one spot of the blood. This DNA from an unknown male wasn’t developed enough for CODIS at that stage. Desperate Thomas worked Very hard to keep the Fact that there was now Two lots of Unknown male DNA evidence, from the media & so from the public domain. The BPD were ‘leaking’ false & misleading information to the media from the very beginning & the frenzy continued. Eventually the BPD were made to Publicly apologise for doing this to the family but This Fact has been forgotten/not known about by the general public. The BPD’s cops Should have found JB early that morning, though a Search for her was never carried out as it was a Ransom note. Three officers were tasked with checking entry & exit points, yet failed to pull open the cellar door & go in there & they failed to go through the train room door also, thinking it was a cupboard door, they by-passed it. Two of them went around the exterior at separate times early that morning, one with a flashlight. Both failed to see those windows under the grate where one was clearly broken at the top section, being a gaping hole. That broken window was Not where the perps got in the house, but That is Not the point. The investigators Present refused to target the Ramseys but unfortunately Steve Thomas was brought into the case 3 days later & his goal was to make a name for himself. 18 months later he illegally took evidence material from the BPD, snuck off on a ruse & then resigned on national TV, an act that was unheard of in law enforcement history. Of course, the reading of his Pathetic letter blaming the DA for his Own failings, was his Marketing Ploy for his book of BS, blaming Patsy because of a notepad & he commenced book tours. He was promptly sued for that book of Lies, but soo many have forgotten about or don’t know about That, either. He garnered money from the public for his defence but come time for court, he refused to get on the stand to back his ‘Story’. The case was settled out of court & he lost every cent of the hundreds of thousands of dollars he made from that book. The investigation Continued with a bevy of actual Seasoned private investigators who had full integrity & worked tirelessly Unpaid to catch the highly sadistic killers of this child & at the same time, they hoped to save another. Very few know about a libel case in 2003 - Wolf vs Ramsey, where Federal Court Judge Carnes got to go over the evidence known about at that stage. Carne declared the Ramseys factually innocent due to the 'Abundance of evidence that pointed to an intruder'. All can read that 93 page document online. She also had quite a bit to say about Steve Thomas in relation to his role as a police officer & about some of the BS in his book. She was particularly incensed about him stating a time of death for JB when he was not a doctor nor a pathologist. He made up a time of death to suit his own agenda & for that book, being for, his own financial gain. Carne was also quite scathing in relation to Cina Wong who tried to present evidence about that note when Wong had no qualifications to call herself a writing analyst let alone an expert & she never had the original copy of the note. There was No basis for that case to go forward to trial so Wolf lost. Pages showing fake writing As If Patsy’s writing ‘samples’ & As If from police files, continue to appear on vids about this case. The pages are all Fake. Wong put out a video of course, showing a whiteboard with samples of the letters from the note down columns & letters Next to those, exactly the same, As If Patsy wrote those letters, it’s all Fake. Every man & his dog has been out to make Money off the back of this high profile crime. The Ramseys & Lots of suspects, including known pedos, were Cleared by the DNA. The DNA from the 1st unknown male that was under her pinkie fingernail plus his Saliva in one spot of her blood in the big underpants, was developed & has been in CODIS since 2003. The FBI’s national database only accepts Qualified DNA. Further testing in 2007 - Same unknown male’s DNA at 2 places on the waistband of the long-johns, on the inside & outside there, being pulled up/down. The Ramseys were finally Exonerated publicly & Officially in 2008 due to All the evidence that Showed someone Was in the house, over 200 pieces of, Plus the DNA from that unknown male, that had also cleared John Mark Karr in 2006, who said he did it. Take note of that Year. Next testing in 2016 with Advanced forensics - 2 male DNA on the long-johns, one is hispanic. The other is a white guy, Seen crossing the Ramsey’s backyard after they left for the White’s Xmas dinner. This was reported & newsworthy at the time. All the false & misleading information given to the media by the BPD did push this vital piece of Evidence under the rug. Then all the books of BS with all the versions of Whatever, took the case into a whole new level & the never ending same old same old False information continues with many making up New false information for the titillation factor. Years down the track James Kolar was in the office of the DA, Mary Lacy, for a very short time & was Fired. He also ran off to write His book of BS & blamed Burke because he needed new fodder. Like Steve Thomas, Kolar had Never worked a murder case either. His ‘Story’ was so ludicrous, no publisher would touch it. He had to pay to self-publish & to very poor sales. Two investigators who actually worked the case each wrote a book about it and presented some compelling evidence that points away from the intruder theory. Mr. Kane, who actually investigated the case and played a role in presenting to the grand jury, who did vote to indict, just stated that information had been developed as a result of that grand jury and that it was significant. If you look at all the evidence available to the public, I think that a reasonable person can say that an intruder likely did not commit this crime. The media and some streaming services are seemingly abandoning the family did it theory and essentially reporting it as fact that an intruder did it. This is likely not a DNA case. Reporting on this case and presenting documentaries on this case that ignore evidence, ignore the totality of the circumstances, and ignore the fact that a rather good investigation took place after the initial crime scene mistakes, is wrong.

You mean Steve Thomas & James Kolar who were Sued for all their blatant lies & misleading 'information' that they filled their books with? It is always amusing to take note of the fact that all you Ramseys bashers Fail to mention that the vote was Not for murder. Yawn. Do even know what century the grand jury sat down for free tea & crumpets? FYI - Only America & one other country still has a stupid grand jury system. It is unfair, unjust & doesn't work. The jurors only hear from the prosecution, who get to pick & choose what evidence is presented & which witnesses appear. There is no judge, no defence lawyers & unless subpoenaed by the prosecution - No experts to rebut Whatever is presented. As a consequence, the jury vote on the side of the prosecution 98.6% of the time. And, the BPD withheld a great deal of vital evidence. Unlike the jury, the general public & the media, the DA actually Saw all the evidence known about at that time as did Lou Smit, one of the best investigators in the country. Less than half the States, still have this abysmal grand jury system. The DNA alone Proved just how Wrong the jury Were. The jurors were Conned into believing Patsy wrote that Ridiculous note, that’s All. Those ‘members’ of the Boulder town public sat down 2 days a week for over 12 months at a great cost to the tax payer, they had to come up with ‘something’. Yawn. BTW - all those Idiots watched, read & listened to the Exact same False & very Salacious information via the Media, for a Very long time Prior, that all You dolts have been brainwashed with back then & ever Since. FYI - Michael Kane didn't 'investigate' a damn thing, he was handed some stacks of paperwork that came directly from Steve Thomas & his offsiders. Kane was forced to take on that case due to the ever deceptive useless 'detectives' who couldn't tie their own shoelaces plus the hierarchy clowns from the BPD who didn't wish to be Blamed for the total Incompetence anymore. After all, their retirement packages were on the line. Kane led the jury members down the yellow brick road each & every day, but found some integrity & Publicly stated eventually, that there was No evidence to charge the Ramseys with anything at all. The media are reporting as they are because the Ramseys were Proven Innocent a long, Long time ago. All you Highly ignorant nobodies, need to Catch Up.

A psychopath would potentially write something like that note if you think about it. A lot of them know a great deal about police procedure and might well have known that making them all believe in a kidnapping would waste precious time by tricking them into not doing a thorough search of the house and cause the crime scene to be contaminated as they investigate a kidnapping vs a murder. I am not a professional, just someone fascinated by forensics, and even I know that. Also more- the letter gives the monster a chance to gloat at John, which a narcissist would do. Thinking about John reading it might have given him a cheap thrill. Have you ever written love fan letter to a famous crush just to feel closer to them even though you knew they'd never respond? It might be something like that. This case has haunted me for so long. I keep hoping they solve it. I never believed it was the parents or even the Burke theory. Someone got away with a terrible murder. RIP Jonbenet and Patsy.

What the Hell was this show all about except using the long-passed girl for clicks and wasting the viewer's time? What was reexamined as opposed to just talked about for the hundredth time? What new information was presented? What new theories were put forward? This "special report" can be summed up pretty much as follows.... "It's been 28 years and the poor child is still deceased but golly, I hope we find the mean person who did it." Please save up your production budget until you can air some informative news.

My theory is that someone at the party is the killer. They stayed behind at the house and hid out, maybe in a guest room, waiting for the family to return home. This would give them ample time to write the ransom note. I think the killer had planned to take JonBenet out of the house. I have never thought the parents or Burke were involved. She wrote the note to try to fool John into going to the bank so she could move the body out of the house and finish the staging of a kidnapping. Her plan failed when John insisted they call the police. It's not clear to me what John eventually figured out, or if he is in denial. Patsy wrote the note, and it makes no sense that John would be in on the note writing and not remove the body before calling the police. Simple as that

I can see how confusing the ransom note particulars were though. It seems certain that the perpetrator is someone who is thought of as "way off" by people who know them closely. @GearldWalk also, a stun gun doesn't incapacitate anybody. They do not do that. Not to mention in a home if a stun gun is used the sound is so loud because it's amplified by the walls. I have a hard time believing the family killed her, but Patsy made so many suspect statements and actions. It’s hard not to believe she was somehow involved in some way. Like looking through her hands at the police, claiming to step over the step with the notes which no one else was able to do. Claiming to not have served the pineapple or her ever seen the bowl even though her finger prints are on it and there are past photos of it in the house. Even the fact that the Ramseys stayed in separate rooms and John was casually looking through mail and making plans for a flight. They also seemed to not notice the time for the call had passed. They also immediately told hordes of people when the note said don’t tell anyone or she will die. And Burke had struck Jonbenet in anger with an object before.

Dude I've researched this case big time are you aware the mistakes Boulder police of what they did not do. Only DNA from JB fingernails an underpants was linked to 2 unknown males. What part of that links the family in the house. What started the tabloid trash on this case was when 2 cops never opened a separate basement room door and hours later they let John find his dead baby girl an speaking of obvious if this police department had any training as soon as cops got there no one should have been in house.

I've completely changed my opinion now. Now I begin to believe that it WAS someone who knew them all, someone who came to kidnap her and get the money, but maybe started getting off on the idea of torturing her right there in the house, right under their noses. The torture went too far, or he was almost discovered? He couldn't get the body out like he had planned on, so he abandoned it. But if it had been meant as a personal thing to John, he would have left the note to rub it in John's face. Now I start to get the idea that B heard something but was afraid to go out, maybe he knew his parents were drunk from the party.

@heldinahtmlhell 7 күн бұрын
@@mritsme9901 Yes, he obviously knew. It's incredibly unlikely she did all this while he slept. Obviously we don't know the specifics, but all the evidence points at Patsy. Her handwriting matches the note perfectly, her jumper fibres were found all over the body and evidence. Reportedly, the two barely spoke that day, while she was "missing", they were in separate rooms and John didn't console Patsy at all. Which suggests there was enmity between them. I think they were surprised they got away with it so easily, and were never even arrested. After that, they decided to stick together. If they'd been arrested and questioned, as they should have been, on day one, it's likely they would have turned on one another, as most criminals do. It's rare that what should be prime suspects in a murder case are never even properly questioned by police, much less arrested. Now if you asked the question the other way around, would Patsy have supported John if she'd found he's murdered her daughter. Less so. IMO, a husband is more likely to support his wife than vice versa. Also, as far as I know, Patsy was the primary child carer. The stay at home Mum, the one who had the strongest relationship with JB, who did child pageants with her. If she got up for a snack, it would likely be Patsy who went downstairs with her.

Some basic FACTS - Patsy was dressed & ready to go, found the note, read a few lines, raced back upstairs, found JB gone & screamed for John. She could only say about a note & JB gone, he said to call the police. 2 males had got in the kitchen door when the Ramseys went to the White’s Xmas dinner. They had broken in before & that’s why they knew where everything was & exactly what they were going to do. About 1.30 a.m., in her bed JB was choked with the cord, tasered on her back, wrapped in 2 white blankets & carried to the boiler room. When the cord was quickly released she screamed, a neighbour heard that because of the vent that went out the window of the boiler room, front of the house. Fibres from the frayed ends of the cord were found on JB’s sheet & are in evidence. Both perps ran out a dickie door through the garage, down to the back, waited under a pine tree then went back in. They had ran into the metal ladder & it hit the cement as they ran out. That was the 'crash' noise the neighbour's husband heard. Fresh pine needles came off one of their jackets & were found in the cellar & are in evidence. That was Not a garrotte, it was a complex bondage device & made by the 17 year old who was into causing fear & used electricity as part of the torture during vile acts. Due to this & positioning, plus JB was given a lot of water over this period of Hours, is why there is so much pee staining on the front of both undergarments & near to the waistbands. A square of carpet & underlay at the boiler room entry was cut out due to the pee stain & that’s in evidence. The nylon cord was bought as it had to be a bit slippery for the purpose. The knots were intricate & specific, then a certain number of ties on the wood & then the 3 loops. When that was done the rest of the cord was JB's Exact height. The end of what was actually a calligrapher’s tool that was used at her privates was cut off & never found because some deviants keep trophies. That item did Not belong to Patsy. JB was given pineapple fruitcake earlier & at 5.30 a.m. She did Not eat Any pineapple that was in that bowl, that was part of the staging, one of many. ‘The Stomach contains a small amount (8-10cc) of viscous to green to tan coloured thick material of no particulate matter identified’. ‘The Proximal Portion (top) of the Small Intestine contains fragmented pieces of yellow to light green-tan apparent vegetable or fruit material which may represent fragments of pineapple’. Arndt was there & told the ME pineapple was in a bowl. It takes 2 hours for stomach contents to go to the top of the small intestine. In Patsy’s recorded police statement of ’98, Thomas Haney told her the tiny bits of pineapple in the top of the small Intestine was Different to the pineapple in the bowl. When Patsy called 911 on the wall phone near the kitchen, JB was strangled to death in a rage on top of the dryer in the basement laundry. Cops coming meant no money. *There was a phone in that laundry. The one piece of tape was put over her mouth to stop fluids getting on their clothes & she was carried to the cellar. Then both fractures of the skull that were also pre-planned if the cops were called, 3 weapons & each is in evidence. The 1st - a brick on the top of the head that caused the huge open fracture down nearly the length of the skull. The 2nd - a utility knife & small stabs to the skull in a shape. The tool used was broken off & not found. The 3rd - was the rounded handle end of the black steel kid's ball bat & that caused the hole that the stabs started. They had planned if the cops were called, they didn't plan that Patsy would still be on the phone. That phone was in the alcove near to where they had to get out the basement door & then their exit door. Glenn Meyer was the author of the note & he organised it all for money with 3 from the house on the corner. One had a huge grudge against John in relation to a family business in Michigan. All was set up to incriminate all Ramseys if no cash was paid. Their back up for money was the taking of photos. Many items were brought into the house & staged. Many items were taken from cupboards & drawers & staged all over the house, basement & a few things outside. Meyer was secretly living in the Barnhill's basement across the road. He got to know a great deal about the Ramseys. JB's dog was mostly kept there & the kids & Patsy were over there often. Patsy gave the Barnhills many cards, letters & notes in her print writing over the years. It's easy to copy print writing & he only had to do Some letters like hers into the note as it was Supposed to look like she was trying to disguise her writing which is Impossible to do for near 3 pages & the Real experts know that fact. From his vantage point Meyer could see through both staircase windows & knew Patsy & John came down the back stairs each morning to make coffee. The note was spread out so all 3 pages would be seen, they wanted their money. The notepad was taken at the Xmas party on the 23rd. Meyer went over saying he was looking for the Barnhills worried about them ensuring he was let in. John took him to where they were sitting & he stayed. The Ramseys didn't even know who he was. This plan, JB was Never to be taken from the basement. SBTC & Victory is about a plane. Joe Barnhill was a radial gunner in WW2 & flew on the SB2C, Two - T, so SBTC. That was a famous bomber plane & lauded for bringing the war to victory. Meyer had a poster of that plane on a wall in his room, Victory was on the side of the plane. There is a photo of Barnhill holding a framed picture of that plane. From the advanced forensics, the private investigators who never gave up & as happens with lots of crimes, people talk eventually & that’s why so much is now known - Plus, due to the crime scene techs who did an excellent job in taking all the photos, videos & collecting the DNA. The Ramseys never put one foot back in that house ever again from after JB was found & they left. The trauma was way too much, but if they Had been able to, this case would have been a Very different matter for all involved. The discoveries were everywhere if the family would have seen it all with very astute investigators. But Steve Thomas was brought into the case 3 days later because the investigators Present, refused to target the Ramseys. He later went on to Pretend that he was the lead detective. He was an ex-narcotics officer who had Zero experience with Any murder before let alone a Ransom, which Was the First crime. He thought he would make a name for himself from this high profile case. His partner was an auto-theft officer. The BPD spent their time covering up their total incompetence. They rarely had a murder & this was their first for '96. They refused help from the FBI & the CBI. They put about False & Misleading information to the media. That amount of money was near John's bonus for '95 & was paid to him in March '96. The amount was on his pay stubs each month of '96 that were in his office. The suitcase was already placed under the window & the window opened for the 2nd time after the cops left. Both done as subterfuge. Same with the fresh green leaves that were dumped at the grate & some 'caught' under it. Early that morning, separately, 3 officers failed to go in the train room door & so through to the windows & 2 failed to pull open that cellar door. There is soo much more to this case that the public don't know about. The type of air taser used has been identified. The burns on JBs back & face are from same taser. The 2nd point was under JB's ear. The burn on her face was bigger because the point was placed there more than once - control. Google the murder of Gerald Boggs ‘93 Colorado. His autopsy photo shows the Exact same burns on his face, the 2nd point was on his earlobe. The big underpants JB was found in were put on her in the early hours. Patsy, her sister, their mother & JB went to New York Xmas shopping. Patsy bought her niece a pack of 7 underpants from Bloomingdales that were called Bloomies. They were size 12-14 & had the weekdays on the waistbands. Patsy also bought from there 2 special Barbie dolls for JB. One had her own pair of underpants also called Bloomies. JB begged her mother for the pack of 7 so she had some like her doll. Patsy gave in & they were put away for JB til she would fit into them, about 8 years away. They were put in the back of a drawer in JB's bathroom. When they got home JB went to see her dog at the Barnhills & told them about her special presents. Meyer was ever listening. JB was found in the ones that had Wednesday on the waistband. It was a Wednesday that year for Xmas Day. Access the photo or the cops’ walk-thru video & see the paint tray on the carpet. Look to the left a bit at the tray & up a bit, you will see a drawing of a sinister smirking cat's face/head on the carpet, as on the note - fat cat. That bowl (with pineapple) was used at the Xmas party on the 23rd & had the icing for the gingerbread houses that all the kids were given & they decorated themselves. That was a heavy bowl & that was icing not milk. There were No fingerprints on that bowl. The silver ladle in the bowl came from a cupboard near the spiral staircase & was from a boxed set of 2 that the Ramseys received as a wedding present & had never been opened. That was chosen & placed because of the filigree on the handle that was like the filigree on some of JB's crowns. The Ramseys were finally exonerated in 2008 due to All the evidence that showed someone Was in the house, over 200 pieces of Plus the DNA that had Already cleared them & lots of others including known pedos & then John Mark Karr who'd said he did it. Next testing in 2016 - the cohorts DNA also on the long-johns, he's hispanic. *I have left out the details of the vile acts perpetrated upon this poor child as a bit sensitive for the page.

The Ramseys were up so early that morning because they were to head to their holiday house in Charlevoix on their private plane. It was before 6 a.m., pitch dark, no-one around & they were terrified. Who would know how long the cops would take to get there. After that desperate but very frustrating 911 call, Patsy called the Whites & the Fernies - for Help, who lived Close By. John Fernie later called their pastor for prayers & comfort, it was going to be a long wait, the note said Tomorrow. The Cops called 2 victim’s advocates who also arrived early that morning. The Ramseys did Nothing to themselves by way of ‘how they acted’ at all & 8 cops & detectives Present that day, had No problems believing they were Genuine. Officer Rick French was the first person & officer to arrive, within 6 minutes of the Start of the 911 call. He saw that Patsy was near hysterical & at point of collapse & had her & John sit in the sunroom. He did a cursory look around then officer Veitch arrived. Nobody was searching for JB, it was a Ransom note. Except for Linda Arndt, all cops were gone by about 10.30 a.m. Arndt didn't arrive til 8.10 a.m. & With detective Patterson. At different times early that morning, 3 cops were tasked with checking entry & exit points only, all 3 Failed at that job. 2 of those 3 plus one taking photos went down the basement at different times, all 3 failed to flip the latch down on the top of the cellar door, pull open the door & go in. All 3 saw gear in front of the train room door & by-passed that door, as did Fleet White. That broken window is Not where the perps entered the house, but the BPD went to great lengths to make sure that the public Still don’t know that Their cops didn’t even know about that window til that Evening, when they went back. That’s why the ‘famous’ photo of the open window, shows that it was taken in the Night. Arndt wrote a Favourable report about the Ramseys & said their behaviour was appropriate to the circumstances. The media went into a Frenzy because the child was found murdered in the home after 1 pm., when many cops had been there for Many hours. The BPD then went into damage control to save their Own asses & so the BS began. What better way to shut the Ramseys up about the cops’ Failings that morning than to throw mud at the Ramseys & they used the Media to do that. Within one week, the Ramseys were ducking for cover & the cops were cleaning their nails. Many weeks later, Arndt was put on desk duties, didn’t like that & quit. Her next job was as a tree lopper. *It was the lousy Cops who should have found JB & early that morning, Not her poor father that afternoon & he did Not go ‘straight to the cellar’. Arndt tried to sue the BPD for Money but the lost the case. Next - she had great acting lessons for that Performance on national TV because she was after a book deal Too.. Her report to the BPD was in the public domain due to the court case & so, she was Caught as a Liar & later retracted all she said in that abysmal interview on national TV. Somewhere along the line she had Regret at least & when Patsy was dying, Arndt went to see her & apologised for all she had said for the TV audience & vowed to do all she could to help find the killer. Due to Arndt’s stories in that hilarious interview - many of the public believe that Arndt was the first officer at the scene & many believe she was the Only officer at the house all day when That is not true either, but her & the BPD are more than happy for the public to believe That BS as Well. It was Her who carried the body to the living room rug near the Xmas tree. Arndt knew Full Well the note said Tomorrow but deliberately didn’t mention That either - for her breakout debut with a numbskull reporter whose only job was to try & keep a straight face. The Ramseys gave the cops free reign to their house from the minute officer French walked in the door because they had Nothing to hide. They spoke separately to the cops & detectives in total, for Hours that morning & after JB was found. Burke was interviewed when still at the Whites at 2 p.m. by detective Patterson, Neither parent was present, nor did they know that was happening. John spoke with the Ds that night, Patsy was bedridden by then. Arndt asked John for them to go to the PD on the 28th. The Ramseys had already witnessed how inept the cops Were & John hired a private investigator straight away. All Ramseys gave the required samples & John spoke to the Ds for 2 hours again that day. They did Everything the cops asked them to do. John asked Eller to speak to Patsy at the house where they were staying because she was so ill & medicated, Eller refused to do that. Steve Thomas was brought in because the Present investigators refused to target the Ramseys. Thomas was an ex-narcotics officer & had No experience with Any murder case before & thought he would make a name for himself from this high profile crime. His partner was an auto-theft officer. Thomas constantly talked about the Book he was going to write & if anyone went against His theory, they were ridiculed & ostracized. The BPD rarely had a murder & this was the first for '96. The next 2 up the ladder had No experience with homicide Either. The BPD refused help from the FBI, the CBI & the Denver PD. The Present investigators had No concerns about deception but Then the body was found in the house. False & misleading information was being leaked to the media. The cops were made to publicly Apologise later for saying there were no footprints in the snow, but the damage was done. It didn’t even snow that night & old snow at the front Only. The Ramseys were told they were being targeted & advised to get lawyers. Very sound advice & the Right of All citizens. The talk was through the lawyers then, That's how it Goes. The Ramseys organised to do the Formal interview for when they returned from Atlanta burying their daughter, the cops cancelled that interview as they did more than once. It didn’t go ahead til April, big Deal. Loads of people don’t do formal interviews At All & lots don’t speak to the cops Ever. The Ramseys still had Nothing to Hide & they went on national TV soo many times, nobody can count the number up right. Being interviewed by all & sundry & being asked about the same Hurtful aspects over & over again whilst being Accused & being open to the scrutiny of all the loons to squawk about every blink of an eye, while the ever accusing keystone cops were doing Jackshit trying to find the sadistic murderer of their child. John went on to hire 3 more private investigators. The Ramseys went broke trying to find who murdered their child & hoped to Save another. When the money ran out, many Seasoned investigators continued the search Unpaid. Not one of them have written a Book. What guilty person, let alone Two, would subject themselves to soo many interviews with soo many reporters on National TV & for Years? NONE. And John continued that after Patsy died. He & John Andrew continue to this day. The current info about the DNA has been national news for over 2 years, only the highly ignorant Ramsey bashers ignore that Scientific evidence. CeCe Moore has publicly weighed in on this case, asking for the DNA evidence items. Patsy liked to wear red for Xmas & had bought a new red sweater that had baubles on it. She wore that & a pair of black pants to the White’s Xmas night dinner. They were up so early on the 26th because they were to take their plane to meet John Andrew, Melinda & her boyfriend at the Minneapolis airport & then all were going to their Charlevoix house for a 2nd Xmas gift-giving. No doubt Patsy wanted to show off her Xmassy sweater again. That morning, she threw that on with the same pants, re-did her make-up & was ready to go when she went down the stairs. She planned on having a bath when they got to their holiday house, after the long flight. That house had everything they needed. Patsy found the note & only read to about - ‘we have your daughter’ & raced back upstairs to find JB gone & screamed for John. She could only say about a note & JB gone, he told her to call the police. She was using the wall phone in the alcove near the kitchen, John was on the floor reading the note over & over Then. The public need to find out about the layout of that Huge 4 level mansion. Patsy had been racing around a long distance plus the spiral staircase 2 times - in shock & great fear, she was so stressed that she couldn’t even get her words out at the Very Beginning of that Desperate 911 call & what came out was Babble. In the Authentic recording of that call, Patsy hanging up the handset on the cradle is Clearly heard - CLICK. IF the cops Really had Any Ramseys in the background because Patsy didn’t hang up, the recording would have been played TIl the End & all would have heard “Patsy, Patsy Patsy” ..... CLICK. And, Steve Thomas refused to have that call forensically sound tested. Funny that. There was a cupboard under that wall phone, if Patsy had forgot to hang up, all Would have heard “hurry hurry hurry”, CLUNK - “Patsy Patsy Patsy” ..... CLICK. So where the hell is the End of that recording?? The various made up stories about ‘red’ fibres from Patsy’s sweater, also Not true. One needs to think about the Major players behind the Commercialised saga of who did what - Steve Thomas put it all on Patsy, Linda Arndt decided Later that she’d blame John & years down the track when hired by the DA's office James Kolar chose Burke. Neither of these so-called 'investigators' had Ever worked a murder case Before or after but, they were all about writing a Book anyway. Each one put their mugs on National TV, trying for fame & fortune, they Failed at that job also. All 3 are such an Embarrassment for law enforcement around the world & then there’s the Fact that they’re all Proven LIARS.

Nobody is reading all that. All the physical evidence points directly at Patsy. The ransom note is a perfect match for her handwriting. She altered her handwriting when giving a sample to the police. Her jumper fibres were found on the duct tape for the gag, the knots of the rope, the paintbrush container. EVERYTHING used in the crime came from inside the house, and from obscure places inside the house, the torch, the paintbrush, the blanket, the pad and pen, the rope. JonBenet's genitals were cleaned, the torch and its batteries were cleaned. Just how at home was this intruder, to do all this? All using on-site items, bringing nothing of his own and leaving no DNA, footprints, eye witnesses, or ANY evidence of his presence whatsoever?

I read "all that" bethryan and I agree with you 100% on EVERYTHING you just said. In fact, I would liked to have continued reading more of what you had to say. You have done your homework and know this case very well from top to bottom. I really wish they would hurry-up and do that genealogy dna on this case and solve it before Jon Ramsey dies. Also, I have been so exhausted that I slept in my outfit and my make-up many times in the past and worn that very same outfit and that very same make-up the next day, especially if I had to get up early. I'm sure lots of people have done this.

I sometime write a journal in a book where the pages are A4 size, and it takes me very little time to fill three pages. Not hours . And not meticulously planned. Think of all the letters that have been written before the advent of computers and typewriters. I’m sure most of them were written of the top of the writer’s head without a draft written first. And they made sense, and flowed, without any pre planning. We are taught to write from the day we start school. It’s not a skill that only a few select people have. I can see the letter in this case being written by a psychopath, whose aim is to mess with people’s heads. I can see them writing it with great glee. Who knows when they wrote it. They could’ve written it before the Ramseys got home if they broke in before hand. Perhaps they wrote it to stall any investigation, giving the impression that JonBenet had been kidnapped to give them more time to disappear. And it worked. No one found JonBenet for hours after the note was found. That’s a lot of time for someone to get well clear of the scene. I am constantly bemused by the fact that people try and bring some sort of logic to the writing of the letter, eg, an intruder wouldn’t have hung around to write a letter. But once again we don’t know when it was written, and not factoring in that it might have been written by a nut bag who is not operating like a ‘normal’ person would. And that people say no one in their right mind would’ve written such a letter… well hello…perhaps it wasn’t written by someone in their right mind…

This case cannot be solved. It was stuffed up from the start. The family invited their friends to contaminate the premises. Only 1 policeman for ages at the house. From every angle this case was stuffed up from the start. This case can only be an example of what not to do. Need to begin with that phone call to 911. What was Patsy saying to Burke? Why did the family pack up and go on holiday? I have no doubt why the family was suspected. Family refused to speak to police. Why? Most ppl would have camped at the police station till something done
