@nehemiahjackson, Don't get it twisted I'm not pessimistic Pete trying to spoil the party. But, the only job these OST & U.S Marshals are doing well at. Is the need to help fill their own pockets & ego by all the OT they're now gonna get & a few doors they're knocking down to boost their ego believing they're s tough guy. Look don't get all sensitive on me & take this as an insult. It's just a little constructive criticism to hopefully help get your mind right. 'Stop being so naive to buy into their babbling BS, be better. What they're trying to make people perceive is quite silly to believe, when it's far from the truth of their real agenda. Sure they're out there cleaning some streets up in the hood & taking a few ignorant & violent criminals off the streets, I can dig that, cool. But, it's just a temporary band-aid & ploy they're putting on Cleveland tax payers. To show us they're worth every dime we're now going to pay them over $120,000 a year of all the OT they're gonna get paid to shake up the streets awhile until Cleveland City Hall runs out of money. Trust me, U.S Marshals, OST, the CPD, FBI, etc... IDGAS, take your pick but none of them are stopping sh!t, FACT! Especially the illegal drug trade or the criminal networks who built their organizations off drugs. LE can pull out the big guns & stick their chests out all they want while drug dealers, gangs & cartels are kicking back, laughing their azz off at LE for being stoopid enough to believe they have the power to shut um' down. NO WAY IN HELL DO THESE DIPSH!TS HAVE THAT MUCH F%$KING POWER. The biggest reason to prove my point on this never ending war on drugs issue is the illegal drug trade industry is a business worth over a TRILLION DOLLARS per year, enough said, Mic drop! Sorry, I have to tell you something you should already know really. Yet, unfortunately the real power is in the hands of the drug world. No one will ever stop the drug industry from continuing as long as there's buyers to sell too. All you need is a little bit of common sense to understand Economics 101, Chapter 1 "Supply & Demand." Not to mention how many government officials & employees there are also on the take in the drug world. Don't kid yourself when the joke's on you in their game of corruption. What a totally stupid comparison on CPD staffing levels. In 1920 Cleveland's population was greater than 796,000 and rising. In 2023 Cleveland's population is just over 372,000 and falling. That means that today there are roughly twice as many police per capita. The problem is not police staffing. The PROBLEM is police methodologies and focus ( including lack of neighborhood policing, overt militarization and poor community relations leading to lack of trust leading to lack of citizen cooperation, lack of adequate timely police response leading to lack of crime prevention and apprehensions, cowardly over-reaction and lack of accountability as in the Tamir Rice situation). The list goes on

The car thefts are insane. I worked at a car dealership in Cleveland and we had 4 break ins in 3 months and the neighbors had 7 cars stolen over 3 months.

IT IS TIME 4 THE PEOPLE OF CLEVELAND TO RECALL, REMOVE, AND REPLACE THIS MAYOR HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING AT ALL.
