I did notice that there was a team called "Team 12" in the SPL during this period. While you are at it, can you tell us why you were not allowed to play in Europe in 2012/13 season, despite a team called Rangers finishing 2nd in the SPL. Also tell us why all your player's contracts were terminated after the CVA was rejected in 2012 and Rangers began the liquidation process. On top of that, why don't you tell us why your club did not mount a legal challenge when the SPL and SFA witheld prize money from the 2011/12 season and removed you from the league. They wouldn't have had a leg to stand on if you were still the same club.

Let's look at the timeline of what actually happened. 14th June 2012 - Charles Green and his consortium buy the assets from oldco Rangers after their CVA to save Rangers was rejected. It was at this point Rangers began the liquidation process and as a result were removed from the SPL and replaced by "Team 12". For the following months, there would be no team called Rangers in any league in Scotland. In addition all the Rangers players' contracts were terminated as Rangers were no longer a football club in the Scottish leagues. 29th June 2012 - Some loyal ex Rangers players TUPEd across to newco Rangers. 4th July 2012 - The SPL vote against letting newco Rangers join the league. Some SFL chairmen announce they are being bullied by the SFA and SPL to let newco Rangers join the SFL. 14th July 2012 - The SFL vote against letting newco Rangers join the 1st division. They then vote against letting them join the 2nd division. After being bribed with funds they vote to allow them to join the 3rd division. However, newco Rangers are not able to join the league at this point as they don't have a SFA membership. 27th July 2012 - The SFA make a special membership that had not existed prior to this date and this "conditional Scottish FA membership" allowed newco Rangers to play their first ever match, which was against Brechin City in the Ramsden's Cup. 29th July 2012 - Newco Rangers play their first ever match. On this date they had no history and no trophies and were only allowed to play because the SFA made up a new rule to help them. 3rd August 2012 - After the signing of a secret 5 way agreement involving oldco Rangers, newco Rangers, SFA, SPL and SFL, the SFA membership from oldco Rangers is transferred to newco Rangers. Newco Rangers are now allowed to join the bottom tier of Scottish football and in a 5 day period went from having no history and no trophies to having 140 years of history and 115 trophies. 🤣

Last i checked their history is also unbroken. So that proves it has no effect on the timeline of the club itself even if it has no league to play in. Losing it was due to uncertainty over the future as there was no guarantee's the sale/continuation of the club via Green's consortium was gonna save the club from extinction. When the rights were bought over as confirmed on June 14th the club was already out of the league thus the club had to regain a licence. I notice how you completely bypassed those who literally confirmed the sale, and either ignored it, or claimed conspiracies about the SFA ''helping Rangers''. This is why i always enjoy these debates because it really does bring out the sheer rage, stupidity, and blindness your mob have to this discussion. Rangers have, and always will continue to exist, and the ECA have made this clear that Rangers continue. So it's not some SFA conspiracy pal. This is the ECA represented by over 200 clubs across the continent. As a Rangers man i agree with Whyte actually. Yes Craig Whyte may have been flawed in his tactics but Murray did bring our club close to extinction. If Whyte is correct in what he says regarding introducing Green then fine. He managed to ensure a buyer was available to create a consortium to buy the rights over to the new company. Even if Whyte is lying about introducing Green, and his consortium he wasn't the one who planted the seed to Rangers mismanagement. Murray was.
