Newsweek Prematurely Ships Out Madam President Magazine Cover

Many pollsters, pundits and experts believed Hillary Clinton was going to win the presidency, so did magazine Newsweek, who recalling 125,000 copies of their "Madam President" souvenir issue. The company that distributes Newsweek, Topix Media, also crafted a Donald Trump cover, sent the Clinton magazine out believing she would win. The issue hit stands on Tuesday and was quickly recalled. Romando told the Post that only 17 issues were purchased. #InsideEdition

I'll say this. It's very similar to the superbowl. They don't know which team will win so they stock gear for both teams to sell after the game. Could it be the same with this? Now I support Trump but I will always be sleptical of things. Could there also be a stack of Trump magazines next to it that the photographer isn't showing?

I can see the sense in creating two versions, but shipping out over a hundred thousand copies of the Hillary version and none of Trump, it pretty much shows their ignorance and biased, and they deserved the embarrassment that followed.

In 1948, a newspaper (The Chicago Tribune) printed a newspaper that said “Dewey Defeats Truman”. Truman held that newspaper up at his victory speech. In 2016 Newsweek printed this magazine only to have Donald Trump win the election.
