Gillis' Trump is pretty much a less cartoonish version of Alec Baldwin's (which, yeah, if Gillis was hired as a cast member, they'd probably would have picked him instead of relying on Baldwin). James Austin Johnson's take is more realistic, which scares people, but is still funny.

Yeah, excellent satirical movie promo parody with hilarious premise, dead on. And yeah, perfect ending, and yeah he has physical comedy skills as well as *all* the other comedy skill sets. "That *other guy playing Biden"* has a name, and wasn't playing Biden. Mikey Day was playing another dude from the gym who wants to improve his game and "got new shoes too" but is wearing the "Air Bidens" instead and takes on Biden traits (similarly to how Shane's character takes on Trumps traits). So he wears aviators, says "Now pass me the rock" and "Here we go. Oh oh.", then tipped-fell-over hilariously.

Podcasts with real comedians and netflix specials have been going up though, which tells you that its maybe that SNL just isnt that funny anymore.
