mi box hdmi port not compatible with hdmi arc or any hdmi port. Only TV hdmi arc can be connected with soundbar hdmi arc. Mi Box also has one composite aux and optical port if your soundbar has optical port you can connect directly mi box to soundbar with special optical cable

Sir, I have the same audio extractor and connected exactly the same way. My AVR Yamaha RXV530 does not recognise 5.1 channel. The output is only 2 channel. I did everything but nothing has helped. no over optical you can get only 5.1 channel dolby, 4k with 120hz is also not possible. May be higher version will support. You even not get 120hz on video pass through soundbar. Only possible in gaming monitors and high end tvs.

You need a 4k plan in netflix for atmos. Many tvs can pass though atmos to soundbar even not mentioned on tv spec from netflix app. You need a atmos soundbar with hdmi earc port, tv should also have earc to ensure atmos.

5.1 channel kafi purana hai aur optical se bhi mil jata hai. Agar soundbar 5.1 channel hai to hdmi arc ya optical se 5.1 channel mil jayega. Ek bar kuch youtube se 5.1 channel ka content play karke check kar sakte hain.

EARC port can be connected with arc or earc port of soundbar or home theatre, from optical and aux port you can get audio output. For 2.1 channel you can connect from aux port of tv to soundbar.

If you connect soundbar with tv using optical you may not get volume info like number, you have to see in the soundbar display. But if you connect with hdmi arc it should display the volume level. Your tv hdmi cec or anynet+ should on and also use your tv remote as universal to control sound of soundbar. You can again register the device under universal remote section of tv

your tv should be 4k, now install netflix and use 649 plan and play content like lost in space, railway man etc you will get atmos. Or use amazon fire stick 4k max and enjoy atmos in hotstar, netflix, prime has few content on atmos.

You can purchase simple DAC audio convertor and one optiocal to optical cable but it will work on 2.1 ch only. Means you can connect projector optical out to that DAC convertor and you will get aux connection output either you can convert to LR cable with additional connector.

Sir, I have a Sony Bravia KLV-40EX600 TV which has 4 HDMI port but on none of them ARC is written. I want to purchase atmos soundbar and request your opinion that can I connect the atmos soundbar to this TV. If yes, how the connection to be established. Optical port is not there on TV..Thank you.

your tv doesn't support so buy a soundbar with hdmi in and out port so that you can connect firestick 4k or chromecast 4k in the soundbar directly and video to tv.

Sir, Philips Tab 8967 has 2 HDMI IN ports and 1 HDMI ARC/eARC ports. So fire stick we can insert in one of the HDMI IN port. For connecting video to TV, do I have to use the ARC/eARC port ?

Laptop me show nahi hoga, Aapko hdmi cable se connect karna hai, aur converter ke optical port se soundbar ko. Soundbar input settings se source to optical ya tv select karna hai. Now play something on laptop you will listen on soundbar. Also connect hdmi cable to tv from converter hdmi out for video display on tv.
