I love how in the manga, Jotaro is described as being neglectful of his emotional expression and that it often leads people to misunderstand or become frustrated with him- and that’s the same relationship that we as the reader have with him. It’s just *chef’s kiss*

For example, if the world mean complete achivement and absolute perfection, when it is reverse, it means over confidence, and god complexe (You can see how it affects Dio) The Star, when it is reverse mean a self serving individual (that the start of Jotaro), then the Star take it full meaning, thus of a guiding star, a point of reference, somebody trusworthy (this is Jotaro in most of Stardust crusader). The meaning of the combination of Star-World would be : Absolute optimisme for the future and legendary leader, wich is a pretty on point caracterisation of Jotaro in later part. Jotaro is a tragic character, i mean he was a lonely teenager, his first friends died after 50 days he meets them and he still kind clingy to his first friendships, It's not like he "moved on" since he still have a hard time to bond with people even when he cares for them. Also i would love to see adult Jotaro as a spy/police/detective protagonist in a drama. His character is so perfect for this.

I feel like Jotaro is that one Jojo that we can follow without raising several hundred questions. I mean if we saw Jokske we would want to endlessly see more of him same with Giorno. I wish we could see them of course but then I would be a bit more distracted with the story at large because I want to see more of them. Jotaro is awesome but I feel like he has properly merged into the roll of a mentor enough to make his entry into new parts more seamless than the others. That is just my opinion though :3

Interesting...to me is the oposite. I really wanted to see more of Jotaro like how he meet his wife, his interactions with Holly after part 3, more bonding time with Jolyne.... I think Araki missed many things with him. Otherwise Giorno is not more interesting since he reached his dream and Josuke is Just a normal high School boy like every shoujo/slice of life story have a character like him so i think they don't have much to "show" after their parts

*This is a really long comment so skip to the end for a general summary* I think Jotaro in part 4 was in many ways actually less matured than he was in part 6 and that both his look and his stand reflect this. In part 3 Jotaro dresses in a style which is intended to be something that people would disapprove of/ be intimidated by because he doesn't have respect for anyone but still wanted to look cool and tough because he still somewhat cared about people's opinions. In part 4 he tries to act more like how he sees his role models/people he thinks get respect, to get the approval of others, which is reflected in his outfit which looks much more formal. Also he clearly hasn't trained his stand as its timestop is only 2 seconds. In part 6 though he acts much more like himself as even though he often takes control of the situation he doesn't try to put on a facade of professionality or toughness, reflected in his outfit which is not formal anymore and also isn't as delinquenty as his original outfit, showing that he has now accepted himself and doesn't care about other's opinions. This is especially apparent I think since Araki covered his outfit in stars and stands are a reflection of the user's soul and Jotaro's stand is the star. This may seem weird since this Jotaro seems to be the least happy of all of them, but I believe that Jotaro in every part was going through what he was in part 6 but only in part 6 was he willing to face it instead of channeling it into anger. Also this Jotaro has the most foresight as even though his stand is weaker physically he obviously trained it's timestop, showing that he better knows his own strengths and weaknesses and is trying to become a better person through trying to fix his weaknesses like timestop duration and noncombat weaknesses like not being there for his daughter. Summary: Jotaro in part 3 cared mostly about being tough and concealing other sides of himself. His outfit reflects that. Jotaro in part 4 cared more about being like his role models instead of being himself. His formal outfit reflects this. In part 6 Jotaro cares more about living his own life and his more relaxed outfit also reflected that. Also he is clearly trying to improve as a person without trying follow in someone else's footsteps like he was doing in part 4

There are two very subtle, but extremely important, character moments for Jotaro in part 3 that I often see people miss. The first is when he is on the phone with Suzy-Q in the submarine. It's the first time he openly displays familial love. He doesn't want to worry his grandmother, so he brushes off her concerns and simply says that Joseph can't come to the phone right now, but that he (Jotaro) is there helping him and therefore there's nothing to worry about. You can tell that he's carefully considering what to say, because he REALLY loves his grandmother and doesn't want her to worry. The second is when he beats down Alessi after getting his age regressed. This one requires a bit of a trek to get to why it's so important, so bear with me. First off, Jotaro openly stated that he had fought people on numerous occasions in order to protect his mom from being harassed. It's important to remember that Japanese people, especially back in the 80's, were and are very racist against foreigners like Holly, and it stands to reason that Jotaro would resent that mentality toward her and himself. Second, Alessi's power is explicitly stated to remove all knowledge that was gained in the years of life it removes from a person; Polnareff forgets his mission or why he's in Egypt (or even what horniness is, apparently), Jotaro forgets what Stands even are.... but he still knows how to fight, and he knows how to fight WELL. This implies that he's been fighting for his mother's honor for way longer than he ever openly admits, and that his love for his mother, and hatred of injustice and bullying, shaped almost all of his life despite the front he puts on.

Lot of people think he's in jail because the newly awakened stand is scaring him and stuff but the real reason he was there because he beat up alot of kids like a real delinquent. If jotaro never came to Morioh there wouldn’t be no Morioh warriors and they wouldn’t have found Kira and angelo

If you think like this you don't even understand Jolyne. She is NOT a carbon copy of Jotaro She is simple a completely different character. You really imagine Jotaro masturbating in prison??🙄 Jolyne: extroverted, grew up depending on others, loves attention, promiscuous, likes to talk a lot Jotaro: nerd, introverted, grew up strong minded, likes to spend his time alone, don't care much about sex, don't like to talk... And there much more things, but yeah you can see the difference

It is better for the algorithm that non subscribers are watching because then it keeps getting in recommended

I enjoyed Jotaro more in DIU than Stardust Crusaders. During the first few episodes and his introduction, I thought "Fuck this guy, someone needs to come along and put this little dickhead in his place". He grew on me slightly throughout SC but DIU is when I really began to like him.

I’m gonna be honest dude, the reason I don’t sub is because you have HxH spoilers in your thumbnails. I’m watching it right now, and will sub when I’m done
