If using this as a survival tool, you most certainly want a can opener. But, if you just plan to use this as your daily tool, then I agree, we don’t need can openers on our multitools in our every day life. I think the whole point of the Free model was to be free to open it and navigate through the different tools with one hand. Having the modifications makes me think it's better to stick with a wave plus or a surge.. maybe even modify the surge just a tiny bit. Modifying the Free seems a bit of a stretch but cool vid.
@NewZonaRides3 жыл бұрын
You can still open all the tools with one hand with the mods. The Wave and Charge are great if they didn't always pinch my hand. This tool is still the one I use the most.
@smokinjoe25394 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I'll send you my P4 to do these mods! Just tell me the cost.
@NewZonaRides4 жыл бұрын
I like messing with stuff. I wouldn't mind doing a few of these. You would have to understand that this is not inexpensive and the time to do it is not quick. What I am saying is the parts can take a month to get from the 3d printer. I can do the assembly much faster now that I have all the measurements. It should be easily repeatable as far as that goes. If after hearing all this and want to do this you can email me from my about page and we can make a plan. As I stated in my video it took me about 2 months to complete this from when I started. I would estimate it would take half that time now that all the leg work has been done.

For me to achieve perfection it needs an X-acto No. 226 Blade holder . Also why does anyone need a scissor when you have knife blades?
@NewZonaRides2 жыл бұрын
For me, to cut labels when I label servers. Very important item for me. A knife cuts well enough if I had a cutting board or something to use but scissors do it better off the cuff in a pinch with the no need for a cutting surface. Hope that made sense at all.

Well. This video was such a dissappointment. The P4 is not perfect, but you sure ruined it. I own hundreds of multi-tools, including every tool you mentioned. There is no perfect multi-tool. Far from making anything better, you ruined the best aspects, and kept the worst aspects. Were you completely ignorant of what the P4 was, when you bought it? It seems you picked the multi-tool that was furthest from what you wanted, then blamed the tool and the manufacturer. I'm glad you're happy with what you did, but your mods surely did ruin the P4's intent.
