People in Gaza province of Mozambique speak Shona and if you have ever been to Dande you will realise that most of the people there are dual citizen and move between the two countries. The border is literally liquid (the Zambezi) most Zimbabweans in the first chimurenga like Kadungure Mapondera were busy fighting to contain the Portuguese on the coast when they came back to Zimbabwe abd discovered the British had taken over the country. Unless someone was doing an actual id check those stories are nothing but lazy journalism we have gotten used to by suburban brats who go on to be fake journalist but spend most of their time relying on bbc ans other western journalist to tell them whats happening in their own towships.
