I am pretty happy with my GT Track (due to smaller footprint), but I did have to fabricate acessories to customise it to my linking, I didn't like the shifter mounts, there was to much flex for my liking, I didnt use the foot plate as I found it also very fexable. I reckon, if your good at DIY, get a GT Track. If your not, get a profile rig.

I agree. I think the pricing on thus VS their profile rigs, just spend the little extra and get the profile. Will be much better.

Great informational video. I have the Sim Lab GT1 EVO that I modified to includes a Trak Racer heavy duty universal adjustable pedal deck with pedal slider, Trak Racer adjustable wheel base mount and a Trak Racer seat mount which gives me a comfortable position with a seat slider along with quite a few other mods for racing and space flight. I am trying to get my rig to be as fully equipped as possible for my needs. I like viewing other racers sim rig setups and coming up with ideas to incorporate some of those I like into mine even though they might not be the same brand but at a budget friendly cost.

That sounds great man. Honestly rigs are so subjective and are as good as the person using them. People can be fast at a desk and slow like me on a massive rig. lol. I think the good thing about profile tho is you can mix and match as you have done. It makes getting updates good. I think this rig is a good rig, I think the price just competes with some pretty good rigs, even some they currently sell. I think the TR160 is the coolest looking rig tho. At the end of the day, get what you can afford and build over time.

I really enjoy your common-sense approach to reviews. I’d like to know a bit more about the new seat, which is attractively priced compared to the competition. Does the back provide firm support when braking? Is it comfortable over several hours? Most importantly for a mature gentleman like myself, is it comfortable for those of us who are a bit broad in the beam? Thanks!

Thanks man for the feedback. I appreciate it and being honest and practical is the key. The seat is well priced and more comfortable than many seat. I think you’d be able to race in it for hours and be okay. I’d recommend a lumbar support and honestly it is fine for us broad fellas. I am 5’9 220 and it is comfy. Firm when braking because they have a 2 lever system that makes it really nice. I’d say it is worth the upgrade and well worth the cheaper price. I’d get it for sure.

I have the F-GT & just purchased the ESRS3 seat & can’t get the seat tracks to align (with inner holes) while retaining seat slider without drilling custom holes. Any suggestions??

Oh I had to force it back. It slides pretty far back, but it was like it was locked and wouldn’t. Did the seat already come with a slider attached?

I managed to get the stock F-GT seat slider rails on there but would prefer to use the one that came with the upgraded seat…sorry I’m anal about shit like this lol

@servoss21sigg I hear ya. I had a difficult time myself. As I had to remove the rails from the cockpit. That took a lot of elbow grease. lol

Grazye really important question to ask you. I'm a bigish guy around 270 6'1. The seat looks really nice but I'm so scared it's just too small for me? If not good for me... are there other reclining chairs that you can recommend? I already have a chassis.

I honestly think this would be perfect. It is comfy and firm. The recliner is incredibky solid and my son is 6'1.5 and 255 and he can sit comfortably in it. I think with all seats you may want to add some lumbar support but honestly I've had the XLRS reclining seat from GT Omeg and used the TK seat. This was the most comfy and most solid. I would highly recommend the seat. It will come with a slider attached too so that is a plus. Plus the price is really good.

@@grayzedynamics oh wow so your saying this NLR seat is better for me comfort wise than the XL-RS from gt-omega!?

@frankzappa2274 I would say so. I had the XL-RS and it was okay but comfort wise I like the NLR. And the locking mechanism is better with load cell pedals. Under breaking the XL-RS would move a bit. It's a good value to be honest. Of course it's all subjective. But id say it's worth it.

I think it would hold it but you'd get some flex under higher forces. I'd look into some of the NLR profile rigs. May make more sense for something like the Simagic Alphu U.

I have a GT Track. Great review. I have no complaints, and one of the major selling points was free Amazon Prime shipping. I have to push it aside when I'm not using it so the castor wheels were a major plus.
