Give proton and geely another five years. Half of Japan cars in Malaysia market will die.... My uncle having a X70 premium version... And he is so satisfying with that car, As well as the price and fuel consumption. It worth. I'm waiting X50 . X70 is too big and over my budget. I hope x50 gonna be like Rm70+ to 80+ k.

I’ll stay away from rebadged Chinese products for at least this lifetime. I even may not give it a shot in my next lifetime😎... If I were you, and wanted a cheaper and more reliable alternative, I would choose perodua in a heart beat... better to buy a rebadged Toyota or Daihatsu than a rebadged Geely. X70 guzzles petrol like nobody’s business coming from my FRIENDS that own it. Hopefully IF you purchase an X50, you will not suffer the same fate, if not it’ll incur added cost to your monthly / total cost of ownership....

@@limwiching2277 But typically, it will definitely be a 7-seater instead.. 2-3-2.. Unless they decide to keep the Exora and have this as a high-end MPV and have the seat 2-2-3 configuration.. Because in China itself, Geely gives all types of seat configurations based on what the customer needs.. So I'd say hopefully Proton decides to do the same.. Since they're going to be the Factory House for right hand drive Geely cars which in turn is actually Proton.. So let's hope there's that option..

Different car, caters for different people brooo.. X50 for younger generations OR for ladies who wants SUV OR even a small family car OR even for people who can't afford the X70.. Whereas the Jiaji targets bigger family and people who prefers cars like the Vellfire or Alphard to name a few.. Plus you cannot compare SUV's with MPV's.. Both are for different target market and both lies on different configurations and needs..

Is Proton still gonna bring in this model? They've seems to be very quiet about this now. There was no mpv mentioned in their business road map presentation. No mpv shaped vehicles have been spotted wearing camouflage driven for road testing around Malaysia yet. I think it is a smart move for them to do so and focus on the Preve replacement instead. Mpv market is very small in Malaysia. The Geely BinRui if priced from RM60k to RM80k is perfect to compete with City, Vios & Almera.

Since this jiaji is not very big, I would prefer to have 2+3+2 seating position because at this size, for the 3rd row to have 3 seats, it's just too crampy to sit.

Any latest update for this rebadge proton exora replacement model? I'm still in confusion whether to wait for this proton or to buy toyota Wish.. Since X50 is also taking some time.. A lot of "us" is still waiting for this car.. Luggage space is quite very small.. Need to fix rooftop luggage..

The booth space is too small ,2nd row the leg is not able to stretch bottom for the leg placement is slightly high.as for 3rd row the seat I unable to push much backward as for the leg on to the floor is slightly high

The Geely Jiaji should just replace the Exora straight away and become the All New Exora.. Hopefully get the choice of seat configurations just like what Geely offers and also hopefully the 3rd row seats can fold down 40:20:40 basically individually rather than 60:40.. NOTE: Brooo.. I realized many times whenever you pronounce "subtle", you pronounce it exactly how it is spelled.. The "B" in "Subtle" is actually SILENT.. So it's pronounced as "Suttle" or "Satel"..

I prefer seating layout of 2+3+2 because I don't want the kids to sit in the piles of bags. Bigger boot is preferable if you want to put all your stuff at the back for balik kampung.

This jiaji would be great if the 3rd seats row would be easily adjust as 2nd row seats do for the rear boot space. Its quite smaller even the carry beg there😅. Im pretty sure that proton really expert on board comfortness as the 2nd seats not well support our thigh. Do the right things as proton do in iriz exora ergonomic & upholestry👍 really comfort as a national car product. The practicality for exora before im salute. Flat all way.. n all-row air vent.
