I never knew you could convert an image to a dial in Storyline! This opens up a new world of possibilities for me! Thanks for sharing

Have fun with your dial journey! When I first learned that all I did was make dials for a couple of weeks!

Hi Michele, glad you enjoyed it! I am so glad you are inspired and hope you and your team enjoy what you can do with Storyline! I just launched MasterStoryline.com which is a subscription based service to help new Storyline developers, if you need it. If not, I am always interested in eLearning challenges developers have so please let me know if there are other types of videos you would like to see. Best!

This is amazing! How did you get the sky to suddenly change from day to night? That was awesome!

...and how did you get it to fade?

you can use gradients when you're designing the backgrounds

Love this! Can you explain to me how you rotate two dials at the same time?
@eLearningLocker5 жыл бұрын
Darcy - so sorry I missed this. Basically each dial is set to use the same variable. So as one moves, it changes the variable. When that variable changes, the other dial changes to the same location.

This is AWE-SOME! You certainly triggered my creativity button :) Is it possible to show how it turned out eventually?

Nice use of the dial. It's useful for so much more than just a "dial" :-)

Hi there! I was wondering: how do the two sliders interact with one another? I tried to figure it out by having a look at the variables in your video but I couldn't... I do understand that the one slider influences the dial, but there are two sliders in your timeline... I still find it a great and very creative way of using dials and sliders. Thanks for the explanation in advance :)

Hi Marcel. I actually think now that you don't need the slider and you can just use the dials and it will work fine. So you can just have two dials (one for the foreground city and one for the clouds) then make sure they are set to the same variable. Hope that helps!

That explains a lot of my questions. Thanks for your response, I hope it'll help others as well.

Hi, wonderful idea! May I ask how did you fade the texts? Mine just pops out right away.
@eLearningLocker7 жыл бұрын
Hi Emmanuel..... I don't remember! I probably created a state and put a new text box within the state. then have it fade in when you visit the state and fade out when you leave the state. Nejc does this a bit here: 360.articulate.com/review/content/7dd9d201-306b-4693-a550-bca83567f141/review
