I'm exactly the same when it comes to Stellaris, always looked interesting to me but even gaining a basic understanding of the game felt like too much work; this though looks very promising. Is there any sort of road map from the devs?

At this point, I wish Nexus had the empire flavor/character customization and story events of Stellaris, because otherwise I like the simpler gameplay
