I never deliver ice cream so Dairy Queen, Baskin Robbins or Marble Slab are an automatic "no" and I look for something else. Hands down - Burger King & Popeyes where I am are "blacklisted" and not even up for consideration and no amount of money will make me deliver from there. Sushi & Chinese & Ramen Specialty restaurants are among my favourite places to deliver from. Not only is the packaging great but the tips tend to be higher for those types of deliveries.

IHOP here is good, but you have to wait a few minutes. Wendy’s is great if you know the manager, otherwise it’s horrible because they treat all of the drive-through people before anyone in the lobby. Popeyes is horrible because they ran out of chicken. How the heck do you run out of chicken if you are a Popeyes?

Chickfala is helpful if you aren't a goth girl in my experience. They completely ignore me, won't even look at me and they'll call out the order to instantly plop it down and hastly walk away from me when I walk up. Now this usually wouldn't bother me if they didn't treat everyone else like humans, but they do. Very welcoming to any "normal" looking person I've noticed. So I tend to avoid Chickfala now after putting up with that shit on 5 different chickfala orders; even with decent paying offers for Chickfala I will decline them because of how bad my experience with them was on 5 separate occasions.

One local spot I have blacklisted but panera is blacklisted. No matter how many second chances i give them they're across the board the worst but the biggest offender is honesty they'll blatantly lie to you and blame the driver

Totally correct about the Asian restaurants. Popeyes is TERRIBLE. Carrabas is super slow when busy I've had to raise my hand at Chick-fil-A trying to get help for employees just chillin. So did the lady next to me. Chipotle can be slow sometimes. they are often out of certain foods. Panda Express is on point 99% of the time. KFC is sooo, unfriendly. 😮 Tropical Smoothie can be slow. Sonic is scary! Last time I went though they said I could walk up to the door. Waiting in the drive thu is a nono.

I used to feel that way about Popeyes but now they are easier to deal with with and nice to me as well. And I get some great tips from delivering their food. Wingstop is probably my least favorite (always crazy and I don’t like pouring the customer’s drinks).

Things can differ significantly from area to area. I've *never* had a bad experience at my local Wendy's. They'd be on my best list. Same for IHop. One afternoon when their parking lot was empty, I pulled right up to the door, and before I could even get out of my car, the manager was coming out the door with my order. Seriously! He happened to be looking out, recognized me, and grabbed the order to run it out to me. 7-11's used to be on my bad list because if they were busy, they didn't have time to pull the order. I couldn't blame the workers as they were working their butts off. But something must have changed, and now they all have extra workers, and there are no delays (unless they ordered a pizza, and that can drag-down the time. But that issue is no more.

All these problems could be solved by the platform. After 3 years in the Brandon area I found that "wait time" is the #1 problem. Their prep time is set wrong and Uber does NOTHING. Why is it that Chilli's Valrico and Bloomingdale is ALWAYS ready but Chili's Brandon is NEVER ready? Has to be their prep time setting. Also, I agree with you on everything you said about Chick Fil A. Those kids totally make the rest of the fast food employees in town look sick and ghetto. But I don't know which Wawa you're talking about. They are going to give me an ulcer.

In my area, most fast food orders are a pain bcuz of the wait times. McDs, Checkers, Popeyes, Chipotle, Wendy's, etc... "Fast food" is literally the category of restaurant, but the service is anything but fast. Even Chic Fil A has gone downhill. These kids will look you dead in the face multiple times and not say a single word! I don't get it. Shake Shake is probably the best one in my area.

Been a DoorDash driver just over a month in Portland, OR. Asian restaurants are the best - little wait time and they verify pickup. I have mixed feelings about McDonalds - yes they have upgraded their architecture but the local ones here are short-staffed and they emphasize the drive through customers, resulting in long wait times. But the worst for me is flower delivery. I will decline all flower delivery orders. My theory is that when 1-800-Flowers doesn't have enough drivers the flower shop will call DoorDash for a 30 mile delivery. Impossible there are no flower shops in Beaverton or Vancouver.

I actually don't mind Wendy's. The employees there are super nice. Food is always ready. Some of the places you mentioned like Poppy's, Dairy Queen, WaWa and Cracker restaurant aren't here. There is a Poppy's but it's in another city that I have never delivered in. Dairy Queen is over an hour drive to get to. I have been to that Dairy Queen as a customer. People seemed friendly and order was ready. The one place you didn't mention was Taco Bell. It kind of has gotten better recently. But before I would hate going there. It would just wait....wait...wait and wait. Actually just about 3 months ago or 2 months ago, one of the employees put a Uber Eats order as DoorDash order. So the food was ready but it was just sitting there. The manager finely realized it and switched the bags.

I don’t like Cane’s because you have to order the food. Chinese are organized and double check the items. Popeyes are poorly trained and take forever. Wingstop and McDonald’s toggle back and forth sometimes they’re fast and sometimes they take forever.

In my area, i would say taco bell, Wendy's and Starbucks are the worst. I will say taco bell is decent at nights when the lobby is closed. If it's open, they'll have you wait till all the drive thru orders are completed which is never. Starbucks will do the same. Wendy's is a hit or miss. Lately they've been giving me the same responses when I pull up, "our system is down". I use to drive overnights but since the local university is out of school, I'm gonna be driving mornings into the late evenings. So I'll have to see which restaurants are good or bad. To be honest, some days the restaurants can be on point and somedays they can suck. It's hard to know unless it's an everytime occurrence with that particular restaurant. I will agree, all the Chinese restaurants are on point. They're quick, nice and 99% have the orders ready and bagged before I get to the restaurant. Once in a blue moon, they'll just be finishing an order which would take only a couple minutes. Sheetz and wawa in my area are pretty good and I'll even try to pick up items off the shelves or cooler if they're behind. They appreciate when I do that. It helps them and helps me get out quicker. There's only one wawa in my zone I dont go to cause they will ignore me and never look up even tho they've seen me come in several times for pickups. I will also finish off with any shop and pay orders are usually the worst for me, especially dollar general, unless it's a less than 5 item order. Stuff is usually not available, customers dont reply back quick enough or dont answer their phones and sometimes the app won't even allow me to substitute another item cause the barcode is not recognized by the app. Also the long wait lines at checkout if they dont have a self checkout machine.

In N. Tampa most Chinese orders are so low ball that I don’t even take them, but when I get a good offer I like that they ask me to confirm the order. Chick-fil-a and Chipotle are always on point and so friendly. My black list 3 would be Moe’s, Carrabba’s and Red Lobster.

In my area McDonalds is king for speed. Wendy's is pretty good. Burger King doesn't start until i get there. They see me and say "doordash is here" and start it. Terrible. Worst is Little Caesars (10 minute wait every time) and Applebee's (10-50 minute wait and a manager who will berate you and a staff that hates the extra work). He literally said "All doordashers are fat smelly people with holes in their shirts, I wish I could stop it". Taco bell is a crap shoot. Either ready or 20+ minutes 50/50
