Are you still answering questions? Need keep trying to decide how to make Nezuko wig. I going to buy black wig and bleach the ends was thinking and use paint to dye the roots. Is this ok todo.Thanks for any help

Since this video, Arda has actually come out with a wig that would work perfect for Nezuko if you weren't set on having a lacefront: arda-wigs.com/collections/wig-shop-all/products/eden-classic Otherwise I personally wouldn't try bleaching a wig unless it was human hair, as I'm not sure the plastic fibers would hold up or lift the color at all. You'd be much better off finding a wig kinda like I used here, where the roots are already black so you dont have to worry about ruining the lace, and the ends are a very light shade of blonde or white. You can however use fabric dye for the ends instead of ink like I used! The fabric dye absorbs into the fibers rather than sits on top of it so you wont have to worry about it possibly rubbing off on your costume!

Hi i have a question! after dying the hair black with the ink and rubbing alcohol mix, Does it bleed whenever you touch it? my hands get sweaty sometimes and im afraid when i touch the wig my hands will look like a pen exploded on them

Hey! With this method, because the coloring is sitting on top of the fibers and has not been absorbed into them, there is a possibility of transfer. (Like on a long wig it might rub off on clothes over extended wear) But because this is alcohol ink, it's basically the same as sharpie, so water/sweat alone shouldn't lift it off the wig. However, anything with alcohol in it will, so if you spray it with hair spray and then touch it before it dries that's probably when you'll see the most transfer. That being said, if you spray a couple coats of hairspray over the wig, and let it dry it should help seal in the ink and offer a little more protection. If you're really worried about the transfer, you can always use fabric dye! I have a tutorial on that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKamlYaGgc54Y9E The fabric dye permeates the plastic fibers instead, so as long as you rinse it properly afterward you shouldn't have any transfer! (Just be careful if you're using a lacefront! The lace will soak up the fabric dye much faster than the wig, so its best to try to keep it out of the pot as much as possible)

Yes! However you'd have to be very careful around the lace because it will soak up the dye faster than the wig fibers
