Yeah your best bet is to either just do each album in order, song by song, or to take the NF Journey. This is the most common order I’ve seen for the NF Journey. Each song foreshadows to the next and references the song before it. It’s a crazy Journey that lets you understand NF and his life and music. Great reaction btw! NF Journey 1. Intro (music video) 2. Mansion (lyric video) 3. Wake Up (music video) 4. Intro 2 (music video) 5. Therapy Session (music video) 6. How Could You Leave Us (music video) 7. Real (music video) 8. I Just Wanna Know (music video) 9. Outro (music video) (must see 1-8 to appreciate) 10. Intro 3 (lyric video) (fear talking to Nate) 11. Outcast (music video) 12. Let You Down (music video) (speaks to himself) 13. Why (music video) 14. No Name (music video) 15. The Search (music video) 16. Leave Me Alone (music video)

@alfonsolinares84743 жыл бұрын
NF is paving the way to talk about mental health musically to the point where it needs to be addressed. His music is versatile and You do need to take a break from his music every once in a while to reflect. All of his albums (and a solid portion of his songs) is converted into this Picasso where it literally outlines his life displaying his vulnerability, selflessness, and constant struggle with depression, anxiety, fear and suicidal thoughts. It’s not all doom and gloom as he is now happily married and is making self improvements. His music, as I like to call it, is reflection rap. Songs like “If you want love”, “Change”, “Only”, are only a few that personally I think are his masterpieces. Not because it does well in sales but because it shows the importance on reflection. There is a journey to this and it is long and winded but the outcome of it will make you much more appreciative of what NF brings to the genre. There’s even a KZbin video called “The Power of Vulnerability” (NF) that explains how NF is becoming genre defining. You have a new sub! Remember it is okay to take a break from NF every once in a while. (Although it is hard since his music is so good but it can take an emotional toll)

NF is probably my favorite artist, and I'm not even that into rap. I came here to see this because I'm always curious to see how people react and what they have to say or share about this song. What I learned instead was that you are foster parents and that hits me deep. I was a foster child, thank you for what you do. I also lost my mom from an overdose of pills and alcohol, but later when I was in my 20's. NF (Nate) lost his mother at 18 yrs old, but she was not in his life because of her addiction. I know that feeling of not having your mother in your life and that pain never goes away. It's always just under the surface. NF is a whole other level of music, it's therapy. I recommend doing the NF Journey. His music is complex because he ties it all together and will reference things from previous songs, etc. It's like coming in on season 4 of a Netflix series if you jump to his current album. And just a bonus, (for me anyway) he never cusses.

I wrote that down, thank you for the suggestion.

So little fact, this is real stuff that happened to NF. Based on real events, his crying in the song and at the end was real, he asked the producer to leave It running and walk away. He then recorded that ending.

I have to say one thing... NF is like therapy for me, many other people could and would agree that is why they listen to his music. I relate to his songs a lot, and I may not know him personally but I relate to his songs a lot.

As a kid who suffers through so many mental health issues and someone who is scared to leave my house due to mental illnesses i also suffer severe anxiety and depression just on and off. It could happen in a matter of moments. I dont think i would be on this planet without NFS music

Nf's mom died in 2009 from an overose, NF is also stood for Nate Fuerstien. I also belive NF was abused and so his dad had to take full custody over him but before that he was always with his mom.

Nf is an amazing artist. You should listen to many more of his songs. What he's doing is awesome. He sings about everyday life and what he goes through. Something we can all relate to as human beings. And he does it all without cussing and incorporates God into a lot of his stuff

NF songs are the realest songs in the world I'm just saying. And yes not all his songs are sad but all his song literally would make you think deep and everything he say he mean it and he's literally experiencing it. Just throw back at his life tho, his mom died of overdose in 2009, her boyfriend used to physically abuse him and his 2 sisters so their dad took the kids away from the mother but his dad neglected them tho and he's also diagnosed with OCD. His music is all related to each other you might hear something from his 3rd album that's related to his first one so his music is literally a story, the story of NF. That's why he's NF(RealMusic) because he IS real. I'd recommend starting from the first album but you can start from where ever you want. And I'm so jealous that you discovered NF just now and now you'd starting NF journey from scratch ugh I'd give everything to have this opportunity lol. Have fun listen to his music tho.

I can speak first hand being a recovering addict. With opiates when you have them you feel great, you want to connect, but when you don’t you don’t want to do anything. I have 2 girls and mind you it’ll be 10 years Jan 31st but before when I was using if I didn’t have my fix and going through withdrawals I didn’t care if I seen them or not, it’s sad thinking back on it because their mother is still an addict and as hard as it was mentally and physically I quit cold turkey from doing 8-10 opana 40’s a day.
