NF-Mansion & Intro III|Brothers Reaction!!!!

Do you remember in INTRO 2 when he was looking in the mirror saying "show me an artist you wanna compare me with you put us both on a track imma bury him" i think him looking in the mirror was symbolism for him talking to himself saying he is his own biggest competitor. And in INTRO 3 he's on a track with himself and his fear and he ends up literally burying him in that song. The story telling is amazing

I was about to comment the same thing but you said it for me. I love seeing people do NFs journey. From intro you get the “damn he got bars he’s intense nice rapper” then it progresses to “oh what he’s more than a rapper he’s just an artist look at how different his songs can be with all this emotion” and finally around this part in the journey they’re just like “wow no words pure genius”

Yeah so in "Mansion" song FEAR got inside the mansion, picked a room and got settled in. NF wants to kick FEAR out but can't and then says "is that me or is that fear talking?" ...So in "Intro3" song FEAR is talking. He's trying to convince NF not to kick him out cause without him NF would not write the deep lyrics that he does (and then become successful/famous). See why it's important to remember the "Mansion" song? Cause this song is a continuation of "Mansion" song. NF IS KICK ASS GENIUS!!!!

Part of why I love Nate so much is because not ONLY does his music sound good and give you goosebumps, but each and every line of his music has meaning and I find that incredible. Like he doesn’t even use filler lines, tells an entire story, and it’s a fuckn BOP. Like how tf?!?

Allen sees everything black and white or at face value, and you seem to see the grey areas that tend to go unnoticed. Honestly, you guys are very well-balanced. When he says "we go back to where you lower created" he talks about the part of mansion: "you used to put me in the corner, so you could see the fear in my eyes then took me downstairs and beat me..." and then he talks about Jonny which is not yet confirmed by nf, but we interpreted as being his stepfather who beat him, because he says he wrote a song without "fear" because it was fear that was born through the actions of the stepfather. In other words, he no longer needs fear to make the music because he is no longer afraid of his stepfather, what's left is "the anger" he needs to make that song, but he says "he still live in the basement" referring not only to the anger but the music he made for his stepfather because in mansion he says this: "Congratulations, you'll always have a room in my mind But I'm a keep the door shut and lock the lyrics inside" referring to the stepfather responsible for this memory but he says he will keep this room closed with the lyrics inside, which I interpret to be the basement and the lyrics he says would be the song made for Jonny the supposed name of the stepfather. And that's my interpretation.

Nate said recirding this song was the most intense moment for him cuz to him it's more than just a song about bury fear, it was a moment he had to consiously decide to bury his fear and we ate lucky enough to get to share thst moment with him !

I've always wondered about one line in this song that never seemed relevant where good NF says 'That was a JOKE...Yeah you hear what I'm sayin'?' till now..... I believe this billiant exorcism sequence is the moment Nate took control over his 'IMAGE' of fear and put it out in the sunlight to 'expose' it before it could hide in a 'dark room' and 'develope' it's next move... So.... The future 'Joke'er smile Nate wears on the outside to represent the internal conflicted while fake smile on the outside NF says 'Why' so serious' it seems to be the question he asks fear at this point as if to mock the tormenter so NF could take back a huge portion of his confidence and now when he is at war inside himself he will have some 'shells' as ammo to help break through the 'shell that fear built around Nate so he couldn't search for freedom if he felt locked up with no hope of escaping.... WOW!!

Here is another thing to catch that maybe not many catch. He connected the 3 intros together with everything else in between. He connected Intro 1 to Intro 2 with the caution tape. He was wrapped around it in Intro 1. He had the tape wrapped around the house, his mansion, in Intro 2. At the end of Intro 2, he is digging a hole. In Intro 3, he is digging a hole and buries his fear.

@@Amicy You guys are a lot of fun to listen to. I'm always here for some NF reactions.. long story short I've been an NF fan for going on 7 years now. In fact the only reason I ever heard of NF initially was due to a colab he did with a Christian hip hop artist I listen to that goes by the name "Flame". The song was called "Start Over". I was in a very low place in my life at that time but that song was one of many that helped to pull me out of it. It's a great song you should check it out some time NF actually sings the hook in that song. I didn't even know he was a rapper until I heard the song Notepad lol anyhow sorry for the long reply. When I heard this song for the 1st time when fear said let me guess we're going to dig a hole, kill a track and probably put a beat in it, hey that's pretty deep isn't it I thought he meant that's a deep thought, but then after I paid attention later I realized fear was essentially saying hey that's pretty deep isn't it saying hey man your digging a pretty deep hole there! That's why fear says "you had me scared for a moment I though you were digging my grave" then nf whacks fear in the head and says we did what you don't like being afraid! I just love that sequence so much!

NF said it on Outro. The whole subject of INTRO III is said on Outro. “Listen to INTRO III/Trying to kill my fear” he said on his Twitter that this battle was far too real for him. He was in a real battle. The keys at the outro end that be picked up are to release himself from the cage his fear has him in. Johnny is his moms ex boyfriend who abused him. Mansion- the physics abuse was Johnny.
