Can't fault you on picking Em as the one rapper you'd want on a desert island, and I LOVE Em; I think he's the GOAT right now, and will always be on Mt Rushmore of rappers. Let's not forget, Em's been in this since mid 90s, so from Infinite to Curtain Call 2, spans 26 years. NF 1st album 2010 as Christian Rapper b4 being signed by Capitol, releasing his 1st EP with them in 2014, leading into Mansion in 2015. Em was my fave for 20 years.....until I heard The Search, and found rest of NF music, now Em is 1B and NF is 1A. NF grew up on Em, so it's not hard to imagine him developing many characteristics of what Em did in his early years. Both are the BEST story tellers, and can give me goosebumps on so many songs. To think NF can do what he does emotion-wise without cussing??! That's crazy! Having heard each of these artists full catalogs, I'll also say, Em has way more songs I never listen to that NF. NF has a higher percentage of AMAZING music than EM. Of the 5 albums NF has, there are probably not more than 10 songs I don't listen to.......for Em, with way more material ( 26 yrs) , percentage is higher, maybe 60-ish songs? When NF is finished, I feel he will be up there with Em. Can't go wrong either way, and I'm here for both artists reactions. LOVE the channel!

Whoo! NF! Larry I'm pumped for this. NF to me is the beginning and end in himself that means he sets his tone, brings forth his thought and leaves us with this overwhelming question of these nuances of life, such emotions of loss and pain. Also as an extra knowledge😉 He said that he's a Christian but that doesn't make him a Christian Artist just like a plumber who is a Christian but you don't call him a Christian plumber.

Great reaction! This song used to be one of my favorites by NF. Over the past few years I’ve developed a lot of doubt about religion, so I’m not too sure where I stand on all of it, but I still always appreciate hearing someone like NF talk about those things. I respect where he comes from whenever he gets into those topics. By the way, if you have the time, I’d love to see you react to some Kendrick Lamar. Eminem is my number one without a doubt, but Kendrick is solid second for me. One of the most insightful and creative artists out there. He has a song called Father Time that I think would be a great one to react to. It’s about his complicated relationship with his dad which I think is something a lot of us can relate to.

I'm not a Christian, and I do believe that this life was created by a higher being that laid out this multi layered obstacle course called life. Every day we are given choices (easy, hard, difficult, impossible) and each decision will lead us to the next obstacle. We can chose the easy road and feel safe or we can chose the hard , difficult or even seemingly impossible paths and most of the time when we cross that painful threshold, we feel relief and gain something that places us at a higher self value. I feel that we do not have to wish from this higher being for a smooth and fulfilling life, because it has already been laid out for us. No matter how much we beg or gripe, as long as we don't make a choice and move forward or backward, we will remain at that present obstacle. So I don't necessary pray for something I want but I hope that it is in store for me down a future that I pick and I pray to give gratitude to this higher being for giving me the opportunity to move towards a future. Somedays we will just breakdown and struggle but somehow there is a light that always exists to overcome the obstacle even if sometimes we don't see it, we may need to make sacrifices but ultimately it is our choice. The Paths are there, our only task is to pick and walk it. And when most times when we look back, we normally find that had we not been so narrowminded or tunnel visioned there would have been many outlets or lifelines we could have taken. For Me at the end of the journey, I would wish my future self to be able to look back at any obstacle and be affirming of the decisions made and having the least regrets .

The wonder and perfectness of creation; we are flawed as humans but made perfect by God and his grace. @@larryshair No response from Tax so I'll suggest something, we can't miss the opportunity of putting Mac on your list 😅 There's no way I can pick the best song from Mac. Too many good ones in they're own way. Let's start with "2009". He didn't even wrote the lyrics, he just turned the mic on and spit everything that was going through his mind at that moment. I heard he didn't want to release it but I'm glad he did. I won't spoil it but you gotta know 2009 was the year he blew up on rap scene. "Weekend" and "Brand name" are great too. I'm sure you'll get more suggestions from many people after you enter this rabbit hole 🐇🐰🙂 2009: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHOWiqqZn7aSmLc Brand name: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKamqqWqfLabd80 Weekend: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGOcXmhqmc2Jfsk Edit: I know you're busy and your schedule is probably full but I just thought it would be awesome to upload your first reaction to his song on September 7th. It's the day he passed 4 years ago 😭

@@larryshair Haha sorry been offline a couple days but yes these are all good starter songs that that_averagetyp suggested! Though I might argue that 2009 would be better once someone has a background on Mac and his journey to get the whole sentimental vibe and feel of that masterpiece. I vote Brand Name to start. You'll soon learn that Mac has a very loyal fan base much like Eminem. Though I would argue much kinder lol 😅. Mac's music saved my life. Also Here We Go is a good one too kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKCqZ62Xn5aqlaM and Small Worlds lol kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHnGkGqvms5_rMU but yes I know your list is long but it definitely would be cool for you to react to Mac before the 4th anniversary of his death on September 7th.
