I love how NF said "mistakes can make you grow but doesn't mean you're friends, who you are is up to you don't leave it up to them"...i felt like he personified mistakes there. Sometimes we get comfortable with the "burn to learn" lifestyle and sacrifice the fact that we literally have the intellect and wisdom needed to make sound decisions without having to make a mistake to then truly understand what was the best course. Experience (which obviously includes mistakes) is a beautiful teacher but some of us live too recklessly. Sometimes when we "burn to learn" it comes with a host of negatives emotions that end up shaping us subconsciously. Stop, think, act. Don't let who you are/becoming be due to a series of mistakes only.

I want to tell you that you are teaching me a lot about rap, I love NF because I relate like his other fans. I was introduced to him by my son who is 25yrs, I'm 55, yes...55. I bought tickets to his concert for my son he took me. We were in the front row! This young man is sooo talented but you definitely see his fear of crowds. He did all he could to keep his eye contact away from the audience. I understood because he tells you in his music he doesn't like crowds. He is not lying about his feelings, it was clearly apparent. I almost felt bad for being happy at his concert.....yes I jumped with the rest of the fans! Thank you for teaching me about rap, I love it!!
