Keep fighting the good fight! It’s not always easy. But it’s worth it. In the last 10 years I’ve had so many as most would say “down or bad” things happen but I’ve learned from them so much. A few weeks ago the gift of getting a 10 year chip wasn’t part of my plan but it’s worth it. If there is a way hit me up if you ever got to chat.

To me it's just any reaction, his genuine kindness, understanding and just truthfulness is so nice to watch. It's that feeling of finally having someone else who just bloody gets it! Remember Larry, just how you gave that message to the parents saying the kids can relate to the artist and feel like someone is there etc. You are becoming somewhat of a figure like that for us viewers :)

I'm so glad you came around and gave rap a chance! There are so many lessons to be learned from some of these artists who wear their heart on their sleeve. Drugs, sex, violence, murder, cussing and swearing, these things are all around us in real life. Music has the power to turn them into cautionary tales and impactful lessons. If music can steer us away even a little bit from going down a wrong path, help us deal with things and make us go forward, why do people criticize it and say it's a bad influence? I'll never understand..

Fourth video after Ill mind of Hopsin 5&7 and Eminem's "When I'm gone." You've got a really enjoyable personality for these kind of songs. They're quite deep and emotional and genuinly thought-provoking, which you answer to with life-experience and honesty and that compliments each other really well. You can relate to alot of the things that are being said in the songs and some things you can even elaborate on since (I hope this isn't deemed as offensive. I don't talk to people much) you're quite a bit older and therefore figured one or two things out about this existence by now. I said it on one of the other videos already, but I really enjoy your Dad-vibes, just the thing I needed right now.

I'm a few days late to watching this reaction, but this is one that I know hits very close to Home for, not just myself, but many others as well...all I can say is thank you for yet another amazing NF Reaction! All of NFs songs resonate with so many people in one way or another, but for me, this one is at the top of the list. The reality that he shows is scarily close to the reality many of us live and often we just need a soul to be there, in the moment, with us. Hearing your bit about the time you were there for your son was so heartwarming. Thank you for being there for him! Anyway, amazing reaction, as always!!

Great reaction video! I will be 40 in August NF is inspiring. How could you leave us is another song worth a listen. Fun story about NF. I hated hip hop for years. Got sober in 2012 age of 29 found a song by Lecrae take me as I am. I kept pandora playing and Andy Mineo came on. I just connected with it. Started playing more of his music and things clicked. I took a friend to go see Andy then my friend told me about NF. 2 years later on my 6th year of sobriety NF had a concert. Fun times great shows.

39 and can confirm - don't want go in it here - but form Em saved my life. I was many times dark places. High IQ and EQ and lucid dreaming as a kid and photgraphic memory. Now take all this (sounds cool I know, but no) and try to imagine what is for me when my mind decide let's torment this thing that carring me and myslef also. Remembering every dream since I was a kid and nightmares....like no other. Than my mind find out fast this is a dream. And what it does? Switch right away to some darker place. Every. Single. Night. So when I woke up and realize wtf was all that and whet is this (life) I need a reason every day to keep on. And these two mainly Em did a loooooot of job to help me get up and make trough this day aswell. So yes Larry, this helping thing IS a real thing only one sad side note; I could never thank him in person or any way. But I think they know, so that is enough for me.

My mom was an addict my entire life which unfortunately ended with her dying almost two years ago. She was only 44. I used to be jealous seeing other people having more stable families but now that I’ve grown older I wouldn’t change her for anyone. She always had an open mind and was never judgemental so my siblings and I were always able to talk to her about literally anything without being afraid that she would get angry at us She was always more of a friend with us and let us make our own mistakes and didn’t forbid us from doing anything which I think is what made us who we are now. I got into a lot of trouble growing up but she let me make my own mistakes and I think I’m a better person now because of that.

I love your reactions to songs that keeps me and millions of other people going through some tough times still breathing. The part about this girl and her abusive father hits me every time... My whole childhood I was frightened of my father because he was beating my mom, my siblings and me. I couldn't sleep because I was afraid that he might hurt mom in the nighttime. I was always trying to get between them to help her just like you did. One day he grabbed a knife and tried to... you know... my mom... in front of me but somehow he missed and stabbed himself. I went to his funeral only because my mom asked me to. I'm too afraid to even get in any relationship because I'm scared I'm gonna be like him and ruin someones life like he ruined ours. I'm really tired of this already. For 13 years now the only thing I want is to leave this f*cked up world but I can't do it yet. My moms life was hard enough back then and I don't want to make her suffer from her son taking his own life. I'm 26 now and probably should be mature enough to handle it but I kinda died inside when I was 13 and since then I'm just trying my best not to be this guy from "I'm sorry" song by Joyner Lucas... at least till my mom is still here. I don't even know why I share this with you but... I'm sure the world will be better off without me one day. Here are more NF's masterpieces to add to your list Let you down - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJOrk4d4hcSobbc I miss the days - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKqciniKd5Vpbq8

Amazing video as always. I'm a huge Em fan, but I see how much you enjoy any of these songs with emotional storytelling. I am going to ask you in EVERY dang video to PLEASE react to "Family Snapshot" by Peter Gabriel. It's a song about the assassination of JFK from the perspective of Lee Harvey Oswald. It's a masterpiece from 1980. I beg of you. From a grown 37 year old Em fan. This old song from a phenomenal musician is incredible.

As long as you know that Mansion was his first (real) album, that's most of the context you need for this song. There's a lot of other things that are easy to pick up on like reviewers giving him shit for only writing "sad" songs, but that you wouldn't even know purely from listening to the songs. All the songs will make sense(mostly) if you don't go in "order" but there will be lines here and there that you'll miss. Or won't catch certain Easter eggs. A lot of people are very staunchly in the "you have to go in order" camp. And in an ideal world, that's probably the best route, but we don't live in an ideal world. So don't feel bad if you want to acquiesce to recommendations and jump around a bit.
