I’m a Raider fan, but I always respect to Mr. Bud Grant. He is the most disciplined coach I’ve ever known. I also surprised that he’s a one time Laker when he played with the great George Mikan and he won the championship with him in 1950. Btw I’m a Laker fan as well. RIP Mr. Bud Grant🙏🙏🙏

My team and my era, and no apologies. Vikings may have come up short in SB, but they were an iconic team nontheless

I totally agree with that. Despite the losses, and just a fan, I 'm proud to have been "part of it. Unlike any other team.

I've never been a Vikings fan. But I've became a fan of Bud Grant. He seemed like he was an outstanding human being and had a great perspective on life. Probably a factor in helping him live to an age of 95. He found ways to spend time with his family and other hobbies even with the demands of being an NFL coach. Oh and BTW, he was a heck of a coach!

Mr. Grant was indeed iconic. His completely honest and skillful insight into football was amazing. Duriing football season, one of the high spots of the week was “The Bud Grant Show”. I had the good fortune to meet and spend time with him. His demeanor and personality where exactly the same as who we saw on TV media. Those years of the Viking were wonderful. Tarkington, Mason, Brown, white, Eller, Page, Marshall, etc. A favorite era but Bud Grant was the soul of those teams. If your not passionate, what’s the point?

I have never been a Minnesota Vikings fan but I have to say Bud Grant had the most disciplined team in the NFL and the best special teams in the NFL he lost 4 super bowls but most teams wish they could have got there and lost it I'm a Los Angeles rams fan and I know all about The Vikings The Vikings the only time I had anything to cheer about was in 78 when we got revenge on them other than that they were just better better coached and they had better players On special teams.

Bud Grant did more with less,. Who the hell wants to play there home playoff games every year in 10 degree weather with no heaters on the sidelines,. There are probably guys whom no matter what Minnesota was paying would not go there

Don't you think it will get crowded for you with all those canisters of vid? Where would you put your bed? Imagine taking a shower with a picture of Harry Kalas upon the bathroom wall just staring and staring at you. Or, that John Facenda facially shaped soap on a rope?
