Heating an American accent talking about the greatest seems wrong and watching the clips feels like some half decent Google research. It's all wrong and Kyle walker being a white guy seems wrong as well. A few red flags on the video that's being reviewed. No criticism of the reaction

Did he just say "Maybe white boys can jump?" about Kyle Walker? Like, the narrator of this video is clueless, but at least you'd think they'd be able to notice what someone's skin colour is lmao

I used play in goal, and it's tough when no matter what you do isn't good enough.
@jimb90635 ай бұрын
Didn't mind those moments, it's a big goal and sometimes there is nothing you could have done. It's worse when you drop an unchallenged cross, or, maybe come out for a one on one, trip over your laces and go sprawling, and put off the forward who rolls it wide in surprise. So a friend once told me....

@@neilperry2224 As long as you didn't let it in! Used to play 7 a side on an early plastic pitch split up by a big curtain for smaller games. A mate tripped on the unraised bit of loose curtain and skidded on knees on elbows for quite a distance. Horrible mess of red with sand mixed in for good measure!

Heh, Rene Higuita. I was on holiday for that England Columbia game, it was dreadful apart from that moment. Everyone couldn't stop laughing for days and there were many back injuries from people copying it on the beach! It always looks spectacular when players dive full length through the air in sports, do or die moments. Goal keeping is a little like playing outfield in baseball in one respect. Positioning and reading of the flight of the ball are real signs of quality, meaning the best players need to do less diving about as they've read the situation better. The double saves are useful to see how quickly they can be back up and reposition themselves.

Hi Daniel, what I didn`t like was a couple of decades ago, TV football presenters & commentators starting saying, the Striker/attacking player had missed or failed to score. When in fact the goalkeeper had saved the shot, they get all the anger of fans if they make a mistake but they robbed them of their just praise when they succeeded.

All those vids with titles as 'Best (fill in your subject of choice) In Football History' are usually made by Amercians who only watch Premier League and World Cup games and you can be sure the video will contain almost none of the best free-kicks, saves, moments or goals in football history.

How does this not have the time Ricardo the goalkeeper for the Portuguese national team got his gloves off, saved a penalty kicj without his gloves on, and then went on to score a penalty himself and get the win for the Portuguese team?

Numbers 1 and 10 are basically routine saves for a keeper. Ball was heading straight at them. Very, very overhyped by someone who probably doesn’t watch football that often to understand what constitutes a genuinely good save.

There is nothing wrong with calling it "Soccer". Anyone who knows the history of the sport will know that it is meant as an abbreviation of "Association". It was used to differentiate it from "Rugger" or Rugby Football.
