A vinyl rip from my personal collection, An iconic track from Super Bowl II and V, among others, by Syd Dale. Open Prairie, from the Impress Music Library, released in 1966.
Footage features clips from Super Bowl II and V, looking at Super Bowl standouts and MVPs Ben Wilson and Chuck Howley.

All I can imagine when hearing this masterpiece is Larry Cole stomping on the Orange Bowl Turf, Bob Lilly throwing his helmet to the Heavens and a few Cowboys crying on the Sidelines. The following year those Cowboys would turn those tears into happiness.

I miss that channel too. My thing has always been about posting videos with tracks from my own collection, that i've ripped from vinyl. I hope you enjoy, but i've no plans to try to fill that void left by Dave- a good friend of mine.

No not an "official" digital release just this one which i ripped from the vinyl.

@@b17bomber THANKS. Was looking across the spectrum of licensing sites - KPM, ASC, etc...nada. Almost seems like everything Syd Dale did is available BUT Open Prairie ;)
