I was surprised they got away with it to begin with. I basically thought they were too similar, and would not get away with it for as long as they did.

Hey Mark. Does the CFL have a copyright infringement case against the XFL's Dallas Renegades whose logo and name is very similar to the defunct CFL's Ottawa Renegades. The CFL logo depicts a masked man wearing a cowboy hat just like the XFL Dallas ream. Please let me know
