Situation could’ve definitely been avoided by Tyreek, but the cops also could have avoided that situation. There’s lessons to be learned on both sides in my opinion.

Cops actions were justified tbh, they were overtop at certain times but overall they were fine. Tyreek was just acting like a victim and not obeying to lawful commands. Unfortunately the media will use this as a opportunity to show cops are bad. Totally agree with you Nick on this one

This was never avoidable. Entitlement, mixed with ignorance, always results in this. Between Tyreek's low emotional intelligence and the one cop's inability to maintain his professionalism, this is America.

Entire situation definitely avoidable on Hills part BUT also if the cop would have just de escalated it also would have been avoided… just because you are rude to officers doesn’t give them the power to drag you out the whip especially for a traffic infraction.. the cops are 💯 at fault of how they handled it.. not saying hill shouldn’t of been pulled over

The police can take you out of the vehicle for any reason after you break any law or infraction. The police don't know him, they can't just chill because the suspect told them "don't worry I can't run, I'm in handcuffs". A lot of suspects have ran with handcuffs on and most of them know how to pass their legs over their arms to have them in the front to run better and hide them by taking off their shirt. All Tyreek had to do was act normal and not try to be a thug life wannabe when he's a professional football player.

A big issue I have is people saying he didn’t have a seat on either nine times out of 10 anybody pulled over by the police will take their seatbelt off when they come to a complete stop or they park their vehicle it’s natural so let’s throw that comment and that assumption out
@chrislynch83883 ай бұрын
Enlighten me as to how not rolling down the window warrants this behavior from the police? I am not dismissing Tyreek's actions here because I agree this whole situation could've been avoided if he just listened. I feel like it is the police's job to deescalate the situation not make it worse. They didn't give him a chance to get out of the car on his own and just speak to him outside of it. These cops were lowkey on a power trip or had a bad nights rest or something. No way they resort to pinning someone on the ground for not rolling down the window. If you are that mentally sensitive, you shouldn't be an officer. Ultimately, both parties I believe are to be blamed as this should have never happened on a simple traffic stop.

Being rude didn't help, but rolling up your window with super tinted glass and refusing to roll it down is a danger to the police. They can't see if you are reaching for a weapon and they want to get home that night. I do think they were over zealous with cuffing him as they did, but it was his fault. Of he kept his window down none of this would have happened.

tbh think about being the cop. you got a guy he wont lower his window, tints, then he won't step out. if you've ever watched cops you know where this usuaully leads. So first task is get situation under control. also for tyreek don't be crying that police brutality bs while also being the most uncooperative person that cops ever dealt with . thanks for teaching the youth what not to do when getting pulled over

Nick there's another clip from the other cop's body cam where a cop knees or kicks him from the side. 1 - He shouldn't have been speeding and not wearing a seat belt. 2 - Cop shouldn't be knocking on his window like that, and shouldn't have let him pull his window back up in case he had a gun. 3 - Tyreek should have followed instructions. 4 - Why is there like 6 cops to talk to one person, a bit excessive?
