You have no idea how long I've waited for a channel like this. Tired of watching people opening card pack after card pack and spamming exploit plays. Kurt, I’m 13 years old and have never played on a football team. I didn’t even know how to throw a ball until last year. I want to play football for my school next year but the problem is that I would be competing for the starting Quarterback position with guys that are bigger than me (I’m only like 5’3-5’4) faster than me, and have a stronger arm than me. The only way I could get the starting role is if I’m more accurate and have a higher football IQ. Any tips? Thanks Kurt.

Interesting breakdown of empty. I like the way you described how it is easier to read defenses in empty since the defense has to show their cards quicker. However, as an empty player, I do disagree with it being the "easiest offense to run." Being in empty requires a lot of different reads. As seen in your video, in every play, you were reading 3+ receivers on the play, and you were mainly free styling. I believe in more compressed sets; it is a much more systematic offense, and there are usually only 1-2 reads per play. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

Literally cycled through the same 3-4 plays all to Bo and couldn't stop it because dude could just shed multiple tackles per carry. Then I watch this and remember how awesome madden can be when people don't cheese broken mechanics. I follow your tiktok and have been getting better with your tips, everyone on MUT just wants to roll out and run with their 97ovr jackson and mahomes cards, I stand in the pocket with Purdy and deliver! The best way I’ve found to defend against empty is to send heat and get the QB uncomfortable or run a cover 1 spy and utilize your spy to press the tight end or cover slot. Dime formation has some good plays to cover empty sets
@NewEnglandSportsReview8 ай бұрын
I started using Empty and always checked if it was man or zone by motioning either the WR/RB/TE. If it was man I would get my fastest WR in the slot the deep ball and lead to the outside towards the sideline: I fade the WR, drop back, and lead to the outside sort of like a corner route. If it is zone, I stay calm and collected in the pocket and find the opening. I always have at least two check down route if something was to go wrong. One route being a drag and one being a Screen, Slant, hitch. My go to route is always the slant depending on where the DB is lining up, if he is outside shading I am delivering a bullet. If that slant gets covered I roll out and either throw it away, take it and run, or force the ball somewhere safe.

Although I used Seattle for a while till it lost my bread and butter Flood Sail play.

Now I get it. I was at the Jets games watching Zach Wilson play and I would be so angry at why they were playing empty so much when their o-line was garbage. It's bc ZW needs help reading defenses, but he never had the time bc he would get sacked. He was trying to be patient to let the plays develop. I understand why empty is good for young QBs, like CJ Stroud excelled bc he can throw with anticipation and his line gave him time to be patient in the pocket.
