Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season was a brutal one for kickers. Stephen Gostkowski, Randy Bullock, and Austin Seibert missed several kicks opening weekend.

The sharpest under 2-Minute NFL analysis there is out there. I guess the wine is key. Although to be honest I wouldn’t wanna change with a kicker - Yes they only have one job, but it also feels like it’s the only position in the NFL where everyone thinks they could do it themselves...which definitely doesn’t help with the criticism. But let’s hope they bounce back in week 2. Rooting for the kickers. Anyways keep it up and keep the wine flowing💪

I actually dreamed about this last night. (first time in my life, that I have dreamed about kickers) Being a Broncos fan, it wasn't a nightmare, but a nice dream in which the Titans were even worse in their kicking game, giving the win to the Broncos. If I remember my dream correctly, they messed up the kick after their 16-14 field goal, with the Broncos returning that Kick to the titans 10 yard line. Aside from that, I really am more nervous than ever about field goals during a game. But, it may be a good thing as it raises the respect for a good skilled kicker. I remember the extra-point epidemic after changing the distance and while everybody went, rightfully, crazy about it, it also highlighted the fact that you can't take kicker success for granted. Kickers are always seen separate from the rest of the team, by most fans. An easy position because you don't have to be a physical monster, spending every minute of your free time in the gym. So I just hope that fans can appreciate their kicker a bit more and are more grateful if they have a good one on their team.
