I remember in 1994 after the two-point conversion was put in that there were a lot of bizarre in-game scores that we had never seen in the NFL. Scores of 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25 are common nowadays but they looked weird to long-time NFL watchers at the time.

I still remember watching that Buffalo Cleveland game. I grew up about 45 mins south of Cleveland so the weather was about the same outside where we lived. When the game came on, I was in my room and my dad went "Holy crap, come out here and look at the Cleveland game!" That was such a fun game to watch. Dawson was the MVP that day. Making the two field goals in those conditions was unbelievable.

Because it is good editing, even if the text was incorrect. If you look up Pace Car failure compilations, there is at least one that deals with a NASCAR pace car having a flat tire during the race. The commentators mention the incident where a few decades prior a pace car was stolen. The next clip is the stolen pace car.

The funny thing regarding that last clip from the 1970 NFC Playoffs is that the Cowboys had had another weird scoring game two weeks prior, beating Cleveland 6-2.

As a bonus (though you won't find any footage) only 1 team in NFL history has ever scored 4 points in a game. The Chicago Cardinals lost 10-4 to the Racine Legion on November 25th, 1923

I like how we have a good assortment of just weird Scorigami, then really crappy weather, then just completely crappy football in general. Lots of ways to make these games happen but it has to be a perfect storm.
