From 0-16 to making the playoff during Johnson and Stafford years and to seeing the years of losing streak to Greenbay, this squad is by far one of the best. The Lions’ defense shut down the running game, and when they did that, they really put the pressure on Jordan Love to beat them and they’ve turned him over twice. Jared Goff aside from the bad decision throwing into coverage, has played really well, and they’ve got David Montgomery involved early and often tonight. The Lions are definitely for real, imo

I'm 42 years old and have never seen the lions looking this complete on offense and defense 😮 And Goff seems to be hitting his stride at the perfect time! I'm a life long Panthers fan and got to say keep it up lion's because I couldn't imagine how the Lions fans have felt since Calvin Megatron Johnson retired a Lil early in my opinion. And before that it was Barry Sanders who bowed out also to Early in my opinion. MY team is in a rebuilding situation at the moment and of probably will be next year also 😭 So from here on out I'll be rooting for the Lions this season 💪

Props to Goff. He is back to playing like the QB that went to super bowl 53. When Green Bay brought the score up to 27 - 17, that was close and they were on a roll with momentum, but Goff did not let up and scored a TD too. At that point, I knew it was over for the Packers. I think the Parkers would have tied or won the game if the Lions had gotten stuck at 27.

It sounds like hindsight but I told everybody that the Stafford/Goff trade would wind up working for Detroit. This guy is so underrated. Love along with Justin Fields, Zack Wilson and a lot of young QBs need to work on pocket presence and develop an internal clock. If you can't find an open receiver within 4 to 5 seconds just throw it away. As the years go by you'll develop the ability to read coverages faster. No offensive line is going to hold up long enough for you to make all those third and fourth reads.
