Steeler nation is slowly losing its enthusiasm. Why? MIKE TOMLIN!!!!! 2021; Steelers had the lowest home attendence in the league at 60,000. Steelers were one of 3 teams that had a lower tv rating than the previous year. Tomlin never should have been hired.

You have a pretty good coach in Baltimore like this as well. You can see the frustration he had with that loss to the Dolphins as the Ravens had several defensive breakdowns as they've had all year, as well as the offensive having bouts of ineffectiveness. That drives coaches like these up the wall. The standard is the standard, and so when you see guys spacewalking plays out there, it's not acceptable.

As a Steelers fan, I respectfully disagree with your opinion. Tomlin is a terrible coach and IDC what anybody says. Dude never has a good plan and the team always shows up unprepared. Real Steelers fans who watch every game will tell you that. Tomlin and the Steelers constantly play down to their opponents. Meaning when it should be an easy win against a terrible team, they struggle to win. Ppl love to say Tomlin never had a losing season which just means he never finished worse than 8-8. If you fail to make the playoffs you had a losing season. If you were a highly ranked team and were heavy favorites in the playoffs but get bounced in your first game, you had a losing season. Tomlin was gifted with a HOF QB and a team 2 years removed from winning a Superbowl that's superstars we're still fairly young which is the only reason he has a ring. You see when more and more of Cowhers team retired the worse they did in the playoffs? You see how bad they've struggled anytime Ben wasn't playing? Now that Roethlisberger has retired, will see how good of a coach he really is. How many of his first round picks were total bust? Now that all of Cowhers team has retired I'm sure Tomlin will be exposed

One of my first memories of Tomlin was being asked about his concerns over a backup starting in place of an injured player. He was visibly dismissive, almost offended by the question. His answer was it doesn’t matter who on his roster starts the game, “the standard does not change.” I had never seen a coach address that situation in that way before. I decided I liked this new guy right then and there.

@@ChrisDMV301 Well too bad he also has numbers to balance that out...3 playoff wins in 12 years, 3-7 playoff record since 2012, 8-9 overall playoff record, he's been beat in the wildcard round like 6 times now. No matter how you slice it those are very below average and you could argue terrible numbers. What good is everything else if he just gets wrecked in the playoffs eveytime?

It's crazy how many people are upset Mike can't drag the corpse of an offense to the Super Bowl. Honestly, it's pretty amazing he's gotten Ben's diminished abilities into the playoffs. He should absolutely not be fired for losing a game to a dominant Chiefs team with this team.

he should be praised for putting up the points they did. they had more points against kc than dallas did against sf. hope whoever the qb position falls to can be the piece the offense needs
