I remember watching this live and recording on VCR tape, playing this matchup on Madden and NFL Blitz. I used to love this era of Steelers football.

Thanks for posting another game with McNair. I was just watching McNair from one of games at Alcorn State the other day. Imagine him with Andy Reid or Kyle Shanahan now. That would be nuts. He would simply glisten in the current era.

Brah literally fan form this era knows that Steve was one of the best quarterbacks in the league from the late 90's to the mid 2000's lol. He was the Co-MVP in 2003 who doesn't he get respect from? He is not an underrated quarterback by any means

Kordell Stewart was a versatile athlete back in his day who is mostly remembered by his time as "Slash". He was a quarterback, running back and wide receiver in the NFL before remaining a quarterback for the rest of his football career.

@@jwilliwonka He was more of a fill in punter and general special teams guy for them, but he did punt for a game. He's generally underrated because Pittsburgh did him dirty, he was quite a weapon for the Steelers for a good while. The Steelers just never got over the hump and won a championship although Stewart led many great contending teams.

Sometimes people shit on kordell or act like he wasn't that good but forget he was a triple option qb in college and a WR his first few year's in the nfl yet eventually had an almost 10 year career as qb with a couple very high level ones as qb

He took some carries in the NFL. In ‘95 the Steelers moved him all over the place and scored at least 1 td at each position. Then he replaced O’Donell at QB

Kordell was ahead of his time. Maybe over the top but he’d be a super star in today’s game. Stronger arm than Lamar, not as fast but fast enough. Only thing that got in the way of this team was the kicking game. Cost them in the end.

Just felt like Stewart should have stayed SLASH, felt he had far more value being an athletic receiver/running back and the occasional drives at QB than he was being an ok full time QB.
