The Bengals made the playoffs in 2009, so I guess their offseason work paid off. They lost their playoff game, but Cedrick Benson set a franchise playoff record with 169 rushing yards. I doubt that will ever be broken in my lifetime.

He could have easily just sulked because of the poor offensive line play he had to run behind but his positive spirit shun through. Beyond football he seemed like a really good guy

But just so you know I have nothing against the Bengals (except poor management of the team in this Hard Knocks series, I hope they manage the team better now with the new head coach). The first Hard Knocks was the Baltimore Ravens. Billick spoke to every player he cut. Lewis was the DC on that coaching staff. This appears that the only time Marvin Lewis told a player he was cut, was the last guy. Terrible! Have the guts to tell a player he has been cut, face to face!
