Wes is such a nice guy and Alluvial is a great upcoming band! New album is sick!

Wes is one of the most stylish guitarists i've ever heard. His phrasing and nuance is so tasty and in the pocket and groovy. I hope he has immense success cos his talent is superb! Great interview Robbo!

Yep you described Wes’ playing perfectly . Perfect and really unique phrasing, absolutely technical madness but so groovy. He’s a stand out guitarist in music period . And listening to the new album really made it sink in how good of a song writer he is

What a great f'n convo. I've been listening to some Wes podcasts, never heard him that open and honest.

This guy was super cool!!! TOP 10 guest in my opinion. Seemed honest and down to earth. He really put himself out there which can be risky and can backfire. In this case Transparency was his ally and he made a fan outa me🤘🤘🤘🤘

Wes has one of the most instantly recognizable styles in the metal scene right now. His bends and vibrato are the best I've ever heard bar none.

I didn't know anything about Wes or his bands but will definitely check them out. A really cool laid back conversation that went down many different avenues.

Big fan of Wes’s playing, took a few lessons from him & unfortunately we had a bit of a scheduling snafu for the next batch of lessons but it’s cool. I’m stoked to see him having success with his own band and more people getting a chance to see what an awesome player he is.

Finally got around to checking this one out. You bring it, every time, Robb. I gotta say though, this was def one of my favorites. Outstanding. I’ve only heard 40 stories, which fucking slays, by the way. But I’m about to hit up the rest of the album right now. I’d never even heard of Wes, till a couple months ago, but he immediately caught my attention. Seems like a super cool dude, too. Thinking I’ll prob have to snag an actual physical copy of the album, even though I rarely listen to CDs, to support it. Oh & super stoked for the 11th. Can’t wait for that shit to drop. It being 3 songs makes it even more worth the wait🤘🏼

@@The_JustJoshing ☹ I love the other albums though. I love the addition of black metal vibes, are more haunting vibes to it. What don't you like about Autotheism, and In Becoming a ghost if you don't mind me asking?

No lie, got into your Podcast last week because I was like "I am hearing a lot of good things about this". Love the last episode, I can relate because my mom is a current prescription drug abuser. This episode was awesome too! Got me into some of Wes of stuff! I love these authentic conversations, makes you "bigger than life" rockers relatable to us. I am a fan!

Holy shit! I can SO very much relate to an almost identical rebellious-rocker-juvenile/religious-overbearing-"NOT-having-it"-parent relationship! Only difference for me was that I had become succsessfully-indoctrinated into believing, at my core, that music, with it's "inherent-abilities" toward influencing the active listener into actually becoming "Satanic", committing "evil" acts & even into utterly condemning my eternal soul via that mere act. I was even conflicted with the pure joy I was experiencing when I first discovered and acquired a cassette of "La Sexorcisto, ..."! Luckily, for me, though I HAD, indeed, also had that confiscated shortly thereafter, my mom eventually and reluctantly, after a thorough review and investigation, to my utter shock and amazement... one day... ACTUALLY handed-it back to me! From that day forward, my parents having seen my dedication to that "forbidden-exploration", it was open-season into the world of hard-rock and heavy-metal! ...no Army required! Thanks for so openly sharing, Wes; and, thanks for pushing him to it Robb! GREAT EPISODE!!!

Just shredder merch for musicians.
